October 2015 Discount Code Watch

I just got that email too. I got excited at first til I saw it was for Poly Villas & the dates.

Sorry you couldn't get the room at the poly. Maybe when the Fall GP offer is released it will include the poly!

And...speaking of which, they need to come on and release Fall RO discounts! LOL! I know you all are with me but come on....Disney wants me to plan ADRs 180 days out, my room category pretty close to that (my room category was sold out about two months after I booked and that was in February), and FPs 60 days out...yet here it is July and no word on any dates past October 3rd.

I'm guessing though that we still won't know until end of July or end of August. Fingers crossed I'm wrong!
 
My friend just texted me that she received a PIN code! I took her with me in 2009 on a girls-only trip and that was the one and only time she has been to WDW. She said she has never got anything from Disney before and out of the blue, she got a post card with a 30% off PIN code. She knows that I have a trip planned for October so she asked if I could use it. Bummer! I know that those codes are non-transferable and since I already have a trip booked, I doubt Disney is going to send me a PIN code to entice me to visit:crazy:.

Well, darn it! But don't give up yet. In 2012, the last time I got a PIN, we had had our rooms booked for about a year already with the PIN came out....so....keep thinking happy thoughts!!! (I'm right along with you!)
 


I got an offer in the mail for 30% off a room or free dining. We are using the free dining on our trip in Oct because it will save us much more money than the room code. If anyone would like it I'd be happy to pass it along! :earsboy:

Pretty sure that code cannot be transferred. Other than that I would love it. Thank you though.
 


I am still waiting for something...AP, Disney Visa, anything...that might be in effect on our dates...:flower3:
 
Keeping my fingers crossed that the Poly is on the list of discounts offered for October...I'm getting impatient waiting!!!

Perhaps with F&W they'll offer discounts at MK Deluxes over Epcot, knowing that Epcot resorts will be the preferences choice of many? Wishful thinking! ;-)
 
Success!!! My brother got a pin code back in April and I have been calling about twice per week to see if there were any openings...... Luckily we finally got the 20% off discount we were hoping for!!!!! All three of the rooms we have got it too!!! We're staying at Caribbean Beach! This is just turning out to be a great Friday!

Just got done chatting with a CM on the website and this is what I got:

"We here in chat haven't been informed of any new released offers. Like I said keep checking back, there is no telling what Mickey has up his sleeve!"
 
Joining in on the wait. My best friend and his gf are kinda worried about the prices and I am a Disney Property snob so I can't change to an off property hotel. I got a 35% off pin (at Pop) in 2011 but I doubt they are worried about me coming back since they know I will.
