When is Spring Break 2016?

Hi everyone

We are hoping to come down from BC in march next year. I keep hearing about spring break being pretty bad… so when is Spring Break in California next year? Hopefully we can miss it by a week or two

We went in the beginning of February before Spring Break started, and I would recommend that time frame to anyone. The weather was great, the Disney hotels offered discounts, the crowds were low, and we had a great time! The only downside was the shorter hours, but it was no big deal and we had plenty of time.

Easter is March 27, 2016 . Some schools are out the week before and some are out the week after. I would expect it to be crowded from March 19 thru April 3.

My DD's AZ school is out from March 12 for 2 weeks

We are in Southern Utah and our spring break is March 7-11, we're coming to DL! I know most all of the larger districts in Utah have their break closer to Easter. We are hoping to beat the major crowds. Hoping others will chime in with their break dates.

As you can kind of tell from the range of responses, Spring Break is more of a "season" at DLR because the schools get out at different times. As Jerryp49 noted, Easter is on 27 in 2016 and DLR is (to some degree) expecting the highest crowds the week before and after Easter because that is when the AP blockout occurs. I've started to pull together the 2016 Calendar thread (not yet ready to debut), but it looks like the majority of the "local" school districts are out sometime in March and April.
