The Disney store is addicting but luckily i did not fall into the trap with the current 25% off sale they have! We are very excited to try BLT and if our resale contract passes, hopefully we will be able to stay there again!

First!
So I am sure you guys heard that MNSSHP dates were released today with tickets going on sale in April!
Yeah! pretty much freaking out with excitement and it is not even March!
We will be attending Sunday October 18th!
If anyone can give me some costumes ideas and how to make them! I will love you forever! Basically my best bet is to buy something. I even have already looked online and I had no idea that costumes were so expensive. DS already has a buzz costume that may still fit this year, so I was thinking of going as Jessie. Then I thought maybe we could go as Alice and the mad hatter! I would look a mess in a that wig though!. I do this every year and end up just wearing a shirt. Maybe I will just take DS to pirates league and he can get a costume and I can just wear a shirt!

a Resale DVC Contract!!!:yay::yay:


Yes we have!
We went on a DVC tour about two years ago but the price was just not reachable at that time. At that point they were selling AKV at 160 a point with a 100 point min I think! our resale was $72 a point!
The contract was sent to ROFR. ROFR is for resale contracts where Disney has the option to buy the contract themselves! Disney please do not buy mine, I want it. It is a way for Disney to sale DVC at older resorts. When someone express interest on a resort that is sold out, they go on a wait list. Disney will then sell them the contract on those Disney prices. So at this point all we do is wait and see if we pass and then we close! We have rented DVC points in the past including renting for BLT this year. I know that we will continue our yearly visits to WDW and even if my DS gets to the point where he is not for it, I can have some nice Disney time alone!​

Thank you! I am excited! Unfortunately we are still waiting but I have heard that if Disney usually takes the contracts, they do it early so hopefully waiting is a good sign!:rolleyes1

Our DVC resale contract has passed ROFR!



we have about another month in the process for closing and we will officially be Disney Vacation Club members!
I am so excited and it is just in time i hope to book the princess half marathon! Yes my friend and I have agreed to run the race but only the 10k as neither of us have ever ran and we don't want to go to Disney for just a 5k and no one I will be ready for a marathon, even a half. We have some local races we are going to try in the fall! So i will be ready to book my first stay and since we are renting points at BLT , once we are members we will be able to use the top of the world lounge! I think! I really hope so, that way we can watch hallowishes one day from there!



October hours are out and they are totally different than I thought so I have had to rethink my plans. I think I have finally found a schedule I like. I had to give up some things. we love PM EMH at MK but it was only offered on a Wednesday and that will be our only day at Hollywood studios and we are not getting park hoppers to hop that one day! Other than that, everything seems to be how I have been planning in my head. Here we go!



Saturday, October 17th
We should arrive around noon.
If our room is ready, we will rest before heading to MK for the night.

Sunday, October 18th
We will be going to MNSSHP tonight

Monday, October 19th
Epcot around 10:30 for some Food and wine!

Tuesday, October 20th
Animal Kingdom today. we have skipped AK the last two years so we will be here and take our time

Wednesday, October 21st
Hollywood studios day

Thursday,October 22nd
Magic Kingdom day, Hope to finally see FOF

Friday, October 23rd
Epcot at rope drop
More food and wine at 11 and we will leave by 4pm since it is a friday

Saturday, October 24th
Magic Kingdom
Last full day

Sunday, October 25th
Departure day. we always go to DTD
if we do not go to splitsville earlier we will go today before driving home

Now, i just have to decide about where and when to do ADR which i cannot book for another month. :(​

When we rented points for BLT - we did go a couple times to the Top of the World lounge. We asked, and did say we were just renting points, and both times that said we could go up :) We had a great time, ordered some appetizers for Nicholas and we had some drinks. And we watched Hallowishes from up there. So, hopefully you guys will be able to do that!

I'm trying to work out our ADR's right now. I have a rough-draft, but know that I'll change it a million times of course, LOL!

I'm anxious to see what you guys pick for ADR's!

Thank you! I am too excited! The fact that we come yearly and sometimes twice a year made it the best decision especially with the resale prices!
I really want to see halloweishes from there. I mean they are like amazing and hugs in the park and they must look amazing up there!

LOL! I keep changing my ADR weekly! and will also change a million times!!

Happy Easter and spring break! At least for my DS and not me! Yesterday was such a great day! It was my one day off after working 7 days straight and I am back today!
I am obviously crazy. So much has happened to me recently.

I am currently waiting to close on my DVC contract!

My son started his first season in baseball. He loves it and is on a great team they won the first 2 games 10 to 0 but he has never played so he still learning. He has not got a hit in a game yet. I'm pretty sure since I will miss the next three games due to work, he will get a hit.

Which brings me to I have added a second job in my crazy schedule. Its a PRN or as needed job at a hospital less than 5 minutes away from my house. I am basically picking up a extra shift or two every other weekend.

I am trying to get ready to make my dining reservations in the 20th. Two weeks from today.
Which leads me to switching my mnsshp day from Sunday to Tuesday the 20th I think. I am curious if there is much of a difference between a Tuesday and a Sunday!

Oh and when Disney cruise released itineraries through September I went ahead a booked a short 3 night in September so My DS will be on the ship for his 7th birthday! He wants to go on the Disney boat this year for his birthday but I already had this trip worked out. So 2016 it is!

Oh and then there's this guy! LOL! Yeah really!

So I am not sure what i was thinking when adding another job but then I realized I was thinking how I wanted extra spending money and that I wanted to save and start looking at a home purchase in a year or two instead of renting for my DS and I!


In THE MEANTIME, RUMOR HAS IT THAT MNSSHP TICKETS GO ON SALE WEDNESDAY! So I better decide soon which date I want and be ready for dining!

Todays countdown: 187 days
It is almost that time! 180 days out and I am so all over the place
I think we are going to do mnsshp on Tuesday instead of Sunday! Im so indecisive right know! This has never happened so close to my 180 day. I usually am all calm and know what I want but life is crazy! Ill be back to let you know what ADR I really booked and my plans. I wanted to buy mnsshp tickets so bad but since we are in the process id dvc and we get a discount, I am holding off! Yep! I want those four dollars. I am a bit upset. My mom and I were discussing how much of a increase the tickets are! This may be our last party. I hope not but with prices going up as they are it is something to think about. In the meantime my two jobs are ok. I hate being away from my son so much so I am not sure how long it will last but we shall have what we need!​
 
Hey there! I'm dying to hear how your ADR's went? We did ours yesterday too and managed to get basically everything we wanted - not the exact days or times, but they'll work for us :)

I haven't bought the MNSSHP tickets yet either - hopefully this week I'll get that taken care of! I can't believe it's less than 180 days now!!! Woo hoo!!!

We made to the big 180 mark and it was the most horrible time I have ever had to make ADR. I was luckily able to book on my phone because my computer sucked. Internet explorer, chrome, and Mozilla all would not work even after clearing cookies. I ended up changing around the whole beginning of our trip but we got most of everything we wanted. we are now going to mnsshp on Tuesday the 20th instead of sunday the 18th! Hope I made the right choice! :goodvibes Once again no dining plan for us even though we got a few TS. Here is our list . . .​

Hollywood and vine Fantasmic package 11:30am- we may skip this one​

I am working 11 days straight two days 12 hours and the rest are 10 hour shifts and I am tired but Disney makes me smile! In fact I am smiling so hard because I jut sent off my closing paperwork for DVC. Which means we are almost there and we will be DVC members and we will finally be able to get mnsshp tickets cause DVC members get them at a discount and I need those 4 dollars!:rotfl2:

ADR are done and hopefully I will not change anything but you guys know how it is! 106 days until FP+ reservations and Josh updated his cheat sheets on his website that I love!
Congrats to anyone who got free dining! I cannot believe they released it for the rest of the year and no extra days for Disney visa holders. I knew going in that it was a long shot for my dates but I am still hoping for a room discount since they were only released until October 2nd! Ds has three weeks left until school and I have 22 days until I have my last ever birthday! That is right! I am turning 29 and staying that way! No 30! So in the meantime I am waiting for Disney and trying to come up with a touring plan. I am thinking a laid back one would be nice but the girl in me loves to stay in those parks!

And super big congrats to your little guy! That's great!!! You can't be there all the time (that's what I tell myself) - there are plenty of other big moments to share :) And, yeah, Disney planning always helps!!!

Yes Kona is so amazing! Really happy to try the plaza as well. Thank you that makes me feel better that I cannoy be there all the time. I think my second job i will be done withafter the holidays. I already only get three days off and i work late so I do not see my son during the week especially during school. so once i am done at least I will have the weekends with him

Hello everyone!
Not sure if they anyone is still here but I like to continue my planning! May turned out to be a busy month for me! Two jobs and a kid and k somehow ended up with a boyfriend who has never been to Disney! I warned him about it and he says if I love it then he loves it! It was all very confusing since I planned on being single because I was sure no good guys were left! Horrible past but so far he's pretty amazing!
I last left off telling you about my life plans and wanted to share some things with you!
My son graduated pre-k and he wanted longhorn. It was also my birthday weekend so it was a double celebration. I had to work on my actually birthday.
Th e ophotos are not great but he got some graduation mickey ears and some legos!

This new system and attaching photos has me all off so I apologize and as i was saying. He graduated and I had my 1st annual 29th birthday!
I finally got to see my boy get a baseball hit and he actually hit the ball twice. I cannot etell you how blessed it was to be on this team. the parents of every other child has played ball and they all hit really well but the parents have been such a support to my child and the other fathers who have stepped in to help my son. I could not be more grateful to be around nice people.

My baby is so proud of this trophy!

After a growing season, I took devyn to his first profesional baseball game. I forgot who the braves played but he had to wer his own baseball jearsy!

And finally after starting this process on Februaury 22nd, 2015, we got this letter in the mail Monday June 15! We are offically DISNEY VACATION CLUB MEMBERS!!!

I got a member number to prove it! We are still waiting on a welcome package with our cards which the letter stated would arrive within two weeks!

The next few things for planning include purchasing MNSSHP tickets and getting costumes together, getting some daily plans together to pick FP+ in august, and preparing for the surprise to tell my kiddo. I am pretty much set on telling him on his birthday or at his party. which I also have to plan!​

Today's countdown: 108 days
well the Disney news lately has been depressing but today even worse. Every since my son was 3 we have gone to Disney quest because he absolutely loves it! Today we learn it is closing just as he is getting older and actually get on some of the good things. Looks like we will try and do Disney quest the morning of MNSSHP instead of bowling at splitsville since this place will be no more and for a stupid NBA experience place. Who wants that crap!
Then Animation academy is closing at the studios and the big her 6 meet and greet is going away within the next few weeks. everything is closing at the studios and the only rides left my child likes is toy story and star tours. he cant ride RNR and refuses to go near TOT! Why do these movies get kicked to the curb but the dang princesses are freaking everywhere. Don't get me wrong I like them but i need them to show love to some others. and I am mad I cannot meet them!
However, in other news, today I did something a little crazy epic for me. For the past few weeks I have been walking with my mom. I do not, I repeat, I DO NOT run, like never, ever but today I signed up for the princess 10k in February.:confused3:scared1::eek:

I am bit nervous but Now that i did it, it surely will motivate me to exercise and get into better shape. Maybe even run a full dang marathon one day! lets not get ahead of ourselves. I am going to use the training on the Disney run site or if anyone can recommend another one, I would appreciate it. SO I will be done for thee weekend. the 19th-21 with the race on the 20th. I am going to try my best. please wish me luck. I could not get anyone to do it with me, which is fine so I can get my own pace and go with it but I am nervous. In the meantime we are almost in the double digits!!!!:banana::banana::banana:​

Congrats on becoming a DVC member and on your son's preK graduation! I also don't agree with them closing down DisneyQuest :sad2:...we've only visited DTD once and didn't get a chance to go to DisneyQuest so we've always had this on our must do list. I think they could have at least remodeled it and made it more up to date as it offers a great alternative to a day at the parks, especially being an indoor park/attraction. So many things changing/closing at Disney....*hopefully* this is a sign of better things to come :sunny:
Your plans look great so far. Keep on truckin', your hard work will all definitely pay off :thumbsup2

Thank you! I am very excited about it! Yes I realize Disney quest may be outdated but my son loves it and it is something good for boys since they are lacking in that department
