BW or Jambo for Thanksgiving with family, opinions needed please

Hello to all,
We had to cancel our reservation for July and are now thinking of going for the week of Thanksgiving!

We love the Holidays and we usually split our stay between the BW and out home resort AKV and stay at Jambo.
This is our first time going for Thanksgiving and wanted opinions as to where it would be more fun to be for the actual Holiday and the days after , either the BW or Jambo

our children are 13 and 18

If you are thinking Thanksgiving 2015, you may already be out of luck. Go online or call MS and if something is open for your dates, book it immediately or get on the waitlist.

My preference is the BWV - there is so much happening at EPCOT & DHS for the Holidays. So nice to be able to quickly access those parks.

We did Turkey legs at Magic Kingdom fro Thanksgiving Dinner, kids prefered being at parks than sitting in Villa for a formal dinner! We did Boma for a Christmas Eve Dinner 1 year, easily accommodates large parties if you have others visiting, we had 10.

I too would recommend BW. You have the Osborne lights in DHS and the storytellers at Epcot if you are there the days following Thanksgiving.

Home resort is BWV.......we took the family & grandkids (12) of us Thanksgiving week in 2009 and 2011....so i realize that was some time ago....We actually checked in (most of us) on the Sunday before turkey day....funny tho we all went to AKL at Boma's for Thanksgiving dinner......

BW is so close to Epcot and DHS.....which our grandkids loved.....all teens at the time.....and the entertainment on the BW in the evening can be fun....so you know my vote!!

I'd go with BWV, love walking to Epcot and DHS.

I know, we love walking to Epcot and HS but I also like the more cozy atmosphere at Jambo for the actual Holiday!
we are taking votes, but we are split in votes !
the 18 year old wants the second half at the BW and the 12 y/o wants Jambo
my DH wants BW and I like Jambo !
oh well , let see what I can get
I also wanted to know what each of the two resorts has most off as far as one bedrooms so I an get in the wait list , or the 2 bed rooms
