The Young Avengers: A Very Avengers Holiday (YARP Part 6)

Raven: "Then stop acting like everything's okay when it's not!" She sighed, pinching the bridge of her nose. "I'm sorry. Really, I am. I got unstable back there, you got me back to a place where I could clean myself back up. But you gotta understand. I can't keep playing this fake shallow pretend game with your family and with the Wilsons, like somebody wants or would want me around all the time like I'm a part of either of your families. I'm not. I have a dead mother and a father who's running away from the monster of the world he created because it's now betrayed him; I might as well be orphaned. I'm the ostracized princess of a broken empire. I'm not one of these kids."

Natasha: 'It's okay. Not everything is okay. Nothing can ever be. But having a brighter outlook honestly makes life a lot more bearable. Don't be fake, family isn't a mold of a picture perfect dollhouse. The Barton household is a little zany honestly. You are talking to me right now and not my whole family. Those things you say about yourself... sounds a lot like me at your age."

Raven: "I wasn't raised all that different from you." She looked away. "I guess you think I should talk to Sam, huh?"

Raven: "I wasn't raised all that different from you." She looked away. "I guess you think I should talk to Sam, huh?"
Natasha: "Yeah, you're right. A talk with Sam may be helpful. Different perspectives are good."

Evelyn: "Mike did our class decide yet on if we're fundraising for the food drive or Race for the Cure?"

Natasha: "Yeah, you're right. A talk with Sam may be helpful. Different perspectives are good."

Evelyn: "Mike did our class decide yet on if we're fundraising for the food drive or Race for the Cure?"

Raven: "He'll think I'm being silly."

Mike: "I'm still thinking, the class is divided. It's a tough choice."

OOC: Oh this is SO hard! As a Rogers, Mike knew what it was like to feel sick and weak, but he also knew what it was like to be poor and needy, because of the Great Depression.

Natasha: "No he won't."

Evelyn: "Yeah it's a hard all right."

OOC: Oh wow I didn't even plan it that way... that is hard!
On a side note this guy is flirting with me using Guardians of the Galaxy references and it's great haha.

OOC: lol

Mike: "I would very much like to."

Raven: "Well.....I guess that's where I need to be then. Natasha...thanks."
Evelyn: "Yeah, that'd be a good solution if allowed. But then again we're supposed to have our main one to focus on so I'm not sure." She paused. "You've probably heard some things about me recently. What did you hear?"

Natasha: "You're very welcome. I'm always here if you need anything."

OOC: I really cannot remember how much they discussed.

Mike: "I know something's different now. Something has changed."

Raven: She nodded and left.

OOC: Nothing I think.

Evelyn: "Yeah, things have changed. The reason I wasn't careful with the gun was a had a lot of my mind. It's crazy when you learn something that completely desultory what you've been led to believe your whole life. My parents lived about a whole lot to Jay and I growing up. It probably was for the better, but I'm not sure."

Mike: "Evelyn. What happened?"

Mike: "Evelyn. What happened?"
Evelyn: She took a breath. Evelyn talked slowly with breaths, trying not to get jumbled up in it all. "Jay and I aren't related. Jay's mom was from a hookup with a lady who ended up being a Hydra Agent. I'm from a cloning experiment. Mother had a surgery in her Russian training to where she could never had children. My parents decide when we were babies to raise us together and pretend we're twins. It make sense because I look just like Natasha and Jay like Clint. But actually, Natasha is a natural dirty blonde like me but she's been dying her hair even since I was created to make it less obvious. I wasn't cloned with any powers. They wanted to start with basic steps, although with me I'd be much easier to adjust later in life. I was supposed to get the serum Raven got but my mother fought hard against me getting it. When she first donated her DNA she wasn't going to raise me, but when I created she decided to. She'd never get a chance to have a child. So yeah. It's a lot. I don't even know what I am anymore or what other lies the parents who raised me are hiding."

Mike: "Wow. I can't imagine how hard that must have been for you to learn. I can't really tell you much about who you are or what you're supposed to do, I think you have to decided that. But I'll tell you what I do know, though. Your name is Evelyn Maria Barton. You're a human, a human teenage girl, and nothing less. And I love you. And I'm going to stick with you. Always and forever. No matter where we end up, still in a relationship or just friends, I'll still be there for you. I'm with you to the end of the line."

OOC: Notice the Cap reference at the end?

Evelyn: Mike always knew what to say. She relaxed and melted down beside him. 'It was hard. Harder than I thought I would take anything. I love you too Micheal. Yeah we'll stick together, however that'll be."

OOC: Yes nice one.

Mike: He just held her. "We will."
