Military ticket admission - who must be present?

My mother is eligible to purchase the three day military tickets for our upcoming trip. I'm sure that she will go to the parks with us in the morning, but I doubt she will go back with us after dinner for round two each day. I'm wondering if she, and her military ID, must be present with us every time we go through the entrance or hop to the other park. While I would love to use the discount, I don't want to limit our time in the parks or push her beyond what she feels us to doing. It's unclear in the webpage description and I'm wondering if anyone here has direct experience with this and can comment.

She only has to be there, to activate the tickets. You can purchase and activate them the day before.

Good to know. When friends have had them, the person with the military ID had to be present to enter first thing in the mornings (didn't need to be after first entry.) They must have changed recently. (This was for the 3 day special military tix.)

We have always had to have the military member (my dad) present upon the first entry to a park. After that the member need not be present. This was the case as of three months ago.

We've been using these tickets for the past several years, the military ID card holder (me) has to be present at the first entry only. In addition, once activated, you don't need to use all 3 days at once; i.e. the 3 days are valid until the expiration date of the promotional period, usually near the end of September.

Just to clarify, does "first entry" mean only entry on the first of the three days or does it mean the first entry each day all three days?

the first entry of the first of the three days. After the first entry, everyone can come and go as they please for the rest of the duration of the tickets

Also, if I remember correctly, the tickets are assigned to the ticket holder by name, so they can only be used by the person whose name is on the ticket
