What keepsake do you buy?

I love the Victorian Minnie and Mickey Christmas ornaments and decorations, but I think I have officially completed the collection. So I'll still get an ornaments, will just have a harder time deciding on one.

It's so hard to find resort specific merchandise. We loved collecting shot glasses from all the resorts or from a specific celebration. The last one we could find was in 2011 for the 40th anniversary.

I agree! We love resort specific things. But I do think they are getting better. We were just at Coronado Springs and I know they had resort specific coffee mugs (i was eyeing them up), they may have had glasses and shot glasses as well, it feels like I saw some, but I can't be sure. Also I bought a very nice Polynesian Coffee mug for $6 at the outlet at Vineland (we drove down so we had the advantage of being able to drive over on our way out of town), some super deals there.

I always get Christmas ornaments also. I get 2: 1 with the year and 2 of something else.
Other things we get:
- pins of something reflecting the trip. Example: this past trip was my first princess half marathon, so I got run disney pins.
- Sorcerer Mickey stuff. (Hubby's favorite)
- t-shirt or hoody
- a pin with the year on it.

I love the antenna toppers! Last year I got a set of six holiday ones at a shop by the Haunted Mansion. My favorite though is to get a few trading pins. I have 12 from 2 trips. I keep them in a brass box on my kitchen counter and the grandkids like to get them out and look. Their favorite one has Tinkerbell in the corner and is a picture frame of the castle in black and white. By pulling a tab at the top the castle turns to color and the sky fills with fireworks. They love to here about each pin. We are going again in May with children and grandchildren and will bring home a few more.

So other then ears is there something else you always get to remind you of a trip.

Mine has started with the ears that is an ornament for the christmas tree. I am talking those big ones. I have three and each time I go to Disney I pick up a new pair.
We always go to DTD the first day and buy ornaments; we have them personalized with the name and year.

I buy pins - mostly of the special events going on at that time (F&W festival, MNSSHP etc). I also collect Disney dolls, so any new dolls I can find :)

We really wanted a year magnet last summer on our first trip (my mum has a 2008 one on her fridge that a friend brought her back for her collection) but we couldn't find one anywhere. Really wanted to commemorate our first visit with one! We ended up with a generic (but cool) WDW and SSR one from our resort.

I bought a set of Mickey ears (which I thought I'd be one set is enough about, but I want to get the Donald Duck ones next time!), and a "Christmas" ornament (a very un-Christmassy Mr and Mrs Potato Head, that hangs on the tree at Christmas and stands in the display cabinet the rest of the time).

Pins are a must for me. I have a lovely display board of them in our hall way.

Always an ornament - no particular style/series just whatever reminds us of that trip. We love talking about our collection as we out up the tree each year.

Often a picture frame for me, always a pin for the kids.

So glad to hear this!

We tend to get pins and I usually get a coffee mug. Each kid gets one stuffed animal or other special toy (my 9 year old wanted a lightsaber last year), plus a few pins along the way.

I'm not much of a shopper but will occasionally pick up an ornament or a T-shirt. I keep my ears and re-use on subsequent trips. I do shoot lots and lots of photos and once in a while like something enough to have it printed on canvas or metal for the wall. And more than a few of my camera/lens related purchases have been for Disney trips.

Same here - my girlfriend brought me back one of the large mickey head ornaments in a peppermint swirl pattern before we'd ever gone as a family. I couldn't wait to get to the Christmas store to buy another when we went on our first trip!

I bought another on our second trip, and plan to give my DD $$ when she goes in November to buy me another one.

I also love nice mugs. I picked one up our second trip down, and it reminds me of our trip every time I drink my morning coffee from it.

Always get an ornament, usually from the Chinese pavilion in Epcot.
Sometimes t shirts for the kids.
Ratatouille mugs from France.
Always some studio ghibli stuff from the Japanese pavilion.
Always earrings for the niece.
The new haunted mansion store messed everything up this year! Bought a creepy doll and some china bowls!
