For the $69 do I get the free download of all of my pictures? I was able to download all of my ride pics but that's it. This is my first time with DL photopass, I know how WDW photopass works so I am a little confused.

Thank you!!!

WDW only does downloads now (for the advertised price) but DL photopass still gives you a free CD of all your photos. There should have been a redemption code in the case of the CD you got in the mail. Enter that code at checkout.

I do believe you also have the option for the digital download of the photos as well (i.e., using the redemption code you can opt to have a physical CD mailed to you or download a zipped file of the photos).

Is this new? I have used PP+ 3x now and always downloaded the photos vs. getting them on a CD.

I had the option of either downloading or getting a physical CD mailed when I used PP+ for the first time in November. So it's been around at least that long.

I just received my PP+ in the mail - voucher to bring with, code to enter when we get home for a free CD, and a CD in the case that I guess we use to burn the photos to.

The CD in the case is the Disney Gallery CD. It contains 300+ Professional Disny photos.

When you claim your photos, you will have 30 days to edit, add borders, etc and then order. Once you are ready to order you either add the Disney Photo CD to your cart or add the download option to your cart. Before you check out, enter the code from the insert in your Gallery CD and it will remove the cost of the Disc and standard shipping charge or the downloads from your cart. Then finish the checkout process.

I do both. I have done PP twice and I am doing it next week, with Plus (first time).

I collect all of the photo cards and get all the photos into my account (it can take a day or so sometime). I edit and add borders to my heart's content. I then download them all into my home computer and then I order the CD. This way I have the photos now but have the CD for later/archive.

Before ordering the CD there is a warning that they are sized to 4X6 and to resize if you want to print different sizes. When I resize it says the resolution for all formats is good up to 16 X 20. So I checked all the ones I added borders to and did the resize of those. Should I resize all the pics in case I want to print larger ones for framing or do I just need to worry about the borders cutting off someone in the other formats?

When you resize within the Disney Photopass system it will still cut parts off that don't fit, no different from when you upload a digital pic to Costco and resize it and you have to move the crop box around the best you can. It's tedious to resize each photo -- I saved each edit and each border (sometimes I wanted 2 different ones) and it took me several hours.

Thanks. I found Costco's cropbox and other picture tools easier to use. That's why I was wondering if it was better to just resize when I go to print them. The warning at check-out worried me though but I didn't want to spend hours resizing them all if I didn't need to.

Yes -- since the idea of Photopass + is to have tons of photos and the option to print them at home or at a place like Costco, you'd only need to resize on the Disney site if you were going to order prints from the Disney site.

You can download your pics if you have less than 700 pics. If you have more than 700 (like me) you have to get the CD's. I just received mine on Saturday from my trip at the beginning of the month. I hac over 1000 pics because I chose to do a lot of different borders for each of my pics.

Just got back. I have 361 photos in my "All" group and 22 ride photos (plus releases to allow you to print them). I will create copies, add some borders and other overlays and then order the CD.

I don't do any resizing on the PhotoPass site. I download and then resize in my computer when printing.

i forgot, I will download them to enjoy and then edit those I want to on the PP site to add borders and such.

When you resize it on the Disney site, it can then apply any borders you add to the correct size photo. If you save it as 4 x 6, you can make a photo into 5 x 7 or 8 x 10 easy enough, but the crops you sometimes end up having to crop off some of the edges of the border. That's why you would want to save other sizes.
