OMG! Someone just called me and told me I'm on the front page of the local paper. This is all I could find on the internet but I hear I'm the ONLY one in the picture in the paper! So ironic since there are 10 people in the brass ensemble. Only 5 where there last week and I'm the worst player out of the 10 of us!

I would do more resort hopping but its hard some times since buses don't go from resort to resort so you always have to go to the park and then jump onto another bus

What instruments do you play? I only really learned flute, and still play at church occasionally. I did do bass drum jr/sr year in marching band, but that was the only percussion instrument. They put me on the snare once and I dropped the sticks before stepping off :rotfl:

I have a degree in Music Education/Music Therapy from ECU so I'm supposed to be able to play all of the instruments in the band/orchestra :rolleyes:

Good point. It can be a "pain in the ****"...but you can get 3 resorts on the monorail and take a boat over to WL. Then at Epcot go through the International Gateway and you can visit FIVE! :yay:

James would probably enjoy the AKL and a look at the animals...just hop a bus from AK to the Lodge and back again. That's 10 resorts already! :rotfl:

If you really want to get adventurous from DTD you can walk over to Saratoga Springs or ride the boat to Port Orleans. Get adventurous! :rotfl2:

Cool...that's always fun, seeing yourself in the local newspaper...unless it's for an ARREST! :rotfl2:

Our newspaper editor posted a message to DD today that he'd seen her name in the Brenham newspaper under the "20 years ago" column. She was in a panic :rotfl:

and couldn't remember WHY. In the meantime, I'd stopped by our eye doctor (my cousin) for a visit and he'd given me a copy of the paper. :goodvibes

I was able to "ease her mind"...and I'm getting ready to post a picture for the newspaper editor on Facebook of her in her uniform...which I ABSOLUTELY LOVED!

then back to the high school gym. Redstorm and her volleyball teammates are ALREADY getting ready for next school years volleyball. They hosted a few other schools and played a "3 on 3" volleyball tournament for soon to be 8th graders and freshman. Volleyball from 4-8:30 PM! :faint:

Was fun though...she and her 2 teammates won 3 & lost 2 so they had a good night....
