HRH Deluxe Queen or RPR Club?

I need help deciding and figured you all would be the best to help (no one else going on the trip seems to have an opinion)!

3 adults, 3 nights, August into September. I've found rates for both a deluxe queen at the Hard Rock and 2 queen club at RPR that are exactly the same. Like, to the cent. I love the idea of club level but I am not too sure if I want to be around the construction at RPR. Are the club rooms even upgraded? I haven't been able to find recent pictures of either room to compare them. The extra space at the Hard Rock would be nice but to me a theme park view would be better (which is not a guarantee with this rate). Any insight/input to help me decide?

All you're getting with the deluxe is a bit more space. If you're not going to use the pullout, it isn't really necessary. I'd spend the extra on club or just get a standard room and save yourself some cash.

i've done club at hrh and rpr.
i favor the club lounge at rpr.

both hotels are good room wise.
no issues there.

club lounge at rpr is tower 3.
i have no idea how they will handle club level guests when tower 3 goes out of commission during their rehab period.

i would have never guessed that redoing tower 1 would be dragged this far out.
they started in january and still have the lower floors in T1 to complete.

i know they stopped construction during the high periods of near full occupancy.
they had to have rooms available for those already booked in advance.

i'll be at rpr in early october and have been concerned too if T3 upper floors will be pulled for my time period.

maybe if your dates are etched in stone, you might want to contact the hotel direct to find out if club will be available during your stay.
maybe they will be able to relocate club to another tower at rpr temporarily......

i just know when they redid club lounge some years back, they took 3 or 4 rooms out of commission and enlarged the club lounge.
not sure if they do a temporary club location when the rehab begins there in T3.....

if you really need the deluxe 2Q room, do consider hrh if they will guarentee it.
but if you find out before anyone does get that info, it might help you decide which hotel to reserve now.

I was looking at booking a trip next May. Looked at Hard Rock because of the deluxe. Would be me, my wife, my 23 year old son and 16 year old son. I figured the boys would each want their own beds and the pullout makes it perfect. Then I read somewhere the Royal Pacific reqular room would sleep up to five but I see not mention of a pullout. I assume they mean with a roll away bed correct? Do they rent those to you at the hotel or is it a separate company? I guess my other question is since there are only 4 of us would they rent us a rollaway or do they reserve those for parties of 5

Request rollaway from the hotel
Per night charges will apply

These beds are available at the hotel
No out source vendor involved

Doing club at RPR is pretty awesome if you've never done it. To us, it makes the room size unimportant. We rotate out for showers in the room while others are in the lounge. All four are only in the room to sleep. The rest of the time, you have elbow room. Kind of like having a suite with snacks and a concierge.

Ok one other quick question. If I decide to use one of the blow up Aero beds, is there room for a full?

We were considering RPR club for mid dec trip. All nights from the sunday after thanksgiving to around the 22/23 of Dec shows no availability. I called and spoke with front desk mgr and was told that is around when they are scheduled to be in that area but could not confirm anything.

I'm in a delux queen at HRH now. The pullout couch is hard as a brick!!!! My 11 year old is asleep on it now, but she did comment last night that it was hard. We will see what she says when she wakes up. I may see if they have an extra pad for it. It's like laying on a piece on plywood. I'm surprised by this because the beds are super comfy. Love all the extra space in the room though. We've done club level in the past but we don't get our money's worth because we are always out and about. We hit the grocery store last night for breakfast and snack items.

Some people have reported that the hotel will even give you another mattress to put over top of the pullout couch mattress. If that is excessive, ask for a bunch of duvets and make it into a feather bed.

Thx. I might do that. It's pretty bad!

Thanks for everyone's input. 2 of us are sharing a bed so it really doesn't matter about the pull out couch. TBH the free food sounds like heaven to me! I'll have to the RPR and see about the towers tomorrow. And see if they'd be willing to throw in a mini fridge for free (honestly, it's the only thing keeping me at HRH).

there is another thread that is active in the forums about rpr and renovations.

one homie reported the other day that T1 is completed.
so all in that tower will have the free fridge.

T2 is next to be started and T3 at the end of the year.

the club lounge at rpr is in T3 so if you are going this year, no free fridge at that one but you can rent a fridge for $15 per night.
cheaper way around that is to buy a styrofoam chest for $4 and fill it with ice from the machines.
set it in your bathtub and housekeeping won't bother it.
