It's My Birthday & I'll Disney if I Wanna! ~ A Dec 2015 PTR - COMPLETE!

Loving all the fur baby pics!!
Hurray to your Mom for paying for mani/pedi's! Gotta love that!
Sorry your car is sick, that's no Bueno, don't love that
But very nice Minnie toe polish!
Only 5 or so more days to ADR's??? :dogdance: Bet your so excited!

Couldn't post a picture, but my Henry is a bit bigger version of Marnm02's Angelica. He spends most of his day sleeping in the sun in the boys' room. He sometimes thinks he's a dog and will chase them around the house as they play. Henry is a rescue kitty and is about 4 years old.

I think the password should be Tiara, though.

**eeep!** Tiara!! Can I be in your club now too? Do we need to take a picture of ourselves in a tiara for initiation??

Do I get to do a Single Digit Dance for ADR Day? Is that allowed?

Heck ya, girlfriend! ADR day is a BIG day! :cool1:

I spoke with my friend who works for Universal Orlando over the weekend, and confirmed that he 100% can hook me up again this year with complimentary 1-Day Park-to-Park passes, not just for me but for Uncle Mark and Aunt Debby too! So between the three of us, he just saved us $450 bucks!

Woah! Score!! That's so awesome.

So sorry about your car. Car trouble is the worst... its always so expensive and you feel captive because you NEED a car and you've got no control over what they charge to fix it. It's always nice to find a reliable, honest mechanic.

Cute toesie-osies! I love that color!

Cisco & Astrid.jpg

These are my furbabies! Cisco is on the left and Astrid is on the right. They are very sweet, affectionate and very, very naughty! Shredded carpets, window screens, and door flashing? ... Zero. Craps. Given.

ME: Billie, 34 years old :cutie:
Hi Billie, *waves* I'm Rebecca, 39 years old here...
Scooter Rental? :thumbsup2 Booked and confirmed through Walker Mobility. (And I'm getting a pink one!)
A pink scooter sounds like a great thing, they mostly come in blue or red. I have to get one soon, as my body just can't cope well with wheelchair anymore.
Tick tock. Tick tock. Tick tock.

412 days. :surfweb:
We're currently at 414 days. Eager to read of your adventures, even though I'm very late.
My birthday is coming up in about 6 weeks or so (on December 3rd). Is it sad that the only reason I'm looking forward to it is because it means I'll be at the one-year mark? :rotfl:

I think I've entered a bit of a Disney funk. :sad1:
oh yes indeed
Does this happen to anybody else?
I'm in this boat currently.
2018 - December - 4 days at WDW, followed by my first (4-night) Disney Cruise
neat! We may be there in Dec. 2018 (or Jan. 2019) for my kiddos 17th and 12th birthdays!
2020 - December - Celebrate 40th Birthday with first trip to Disneyland
Oh how fun this will be!
I love your plan of going to Disneyland for your 40th - 2020 for me, too! (When you say it like that, it sounds not too far off. Yikes!)
lol. Alrighty then, feeling ancient now as I'm 40 in July.
I'm keeping it a secret from my aunt & uncle. I think she will flip when she finds out we're having dinner inside the castle with all her favorite princesses. :goodvibes
What a wonderful surprise for her!
Ohana (I did this in September after my Universal day, and I was there with a window-view during Wishes, so I'm hoping to replicate the experience next year)
'Ohana seems like it will be fun!
Coral Reef (I did really enjoy this one, but wouldn't necessarily do it two trips in a row, however I think my aunt would really like it for the aquarium view)
It does have a beautiful aquarium, was not our fave last time, but the servers were all very nice. :)
Be Our Guest (My aunt's one VERY specific request, so crossing my fingers I'll be able to land another dinner ADR for it)
*fingers crossed* for you as well
Wolfgang Puck Express (Been trying to get over here for a meal for a few trips now)
such tasty dishes, we're going back for sure!
I think about food all the time anyhow, so planning my Disney meals a year in advance comes naturally to me. :lmao:

CjJ7wMHjSUiE8.gif
I'm a fan of food as well, and I keep revising our wishlist ADRs for over a year away. *le sigh* lol.
200.gif

Thankfully it is about time for me to make dinner!

What do you think of this place?! My kids and hubby have told me since we'll be at WDW on my 41st birthday that we can do CHARACTER DINING and eat here! :D
20141201_133734.jpg

She apparently asked the bakery if they could do me a Belle cake. They said no, but that they could do a Princesses cake that includes Belle. CLOSE ENOUGH. Hooray!
A-freaking-dorable!
Later in the day, a fella that works in another office in the company but who stops by and helps us out sometime, Jesse, popped by with another card for me. Yes, it's for a 3-year-old. But he said it was the only Disney birthday card he could find!

20141201_132623.jpg
love it!
We went to my favorite Japanese restaurant, and I asked for a hibachi table since my Mom and Grandma had never done one. I've been trying to get my Mom to come here with me for years, but when she hears Japanese food, all she can think is RAW FISH, BLEEEECHHHH! So tonight I FINALLY got the family to agree to do this for my birthday, and whaddya know? They all loved the food and the service. I got a great big "I toldya so!" out of it. :lmao:
Yumm. Are you a fan of Teppan Edo too?

NO, I have never taken a flight with Dumbo! Okay?! :rotfl: I've always gone with people who weren't at all interested in it, people who were like "Oh, that's just for little kids, and it's not worth the long wait in line." And I never really contested this, or thought much of it at all. And then on my recent solo trip, I guess that line of thinking carried over... It just wasn't on my list of priorities! DON'T HURT ME! :scared:

My thought is that my aunt might enjoy it, since it's gentle. And admittedly, it would be nice to finally say I've done it! :rolleyes1

So there you have it. My shameful Disney secret.
I think there are a number of us in this club, and I intend to stay in it. lol
Oh oh oh. And THEN Aunt Debby asks me if there's pins they can buy at Disney World to decorate the front of their bag with. So I told her all about the pin trading phenomenon, and assured her that if there's one item she won't lack for at Disney World, it's PINS. :goodvibes She was pretty excited about that!
She will have a blast pin trading! :D
I'm feeling giphy tonight
I seem to have a bad case of that condition these days. *grin*

Loving all the fur baby pics!!
Me too, omg!!! I'm so happy that so many people have responded! I love the furbabies! pug::cat:

Sorry your car is sick, that's no Bueno, don't love that
Me either. :sad2: It's on Day 3 in the shop and still no real answer as to what's wrong with it or how long it will take to fix.

But very nice Minnie toe polish!
Cute, right?! ::MinnieMo

Only 5 or so more days to ADR's??? :dogdance: Bet your so excited!
4 days now!!! I designed a plan-of-attack in Excel last night. I'm ridiculous. :rolleyes2

Awww, Henry sounds like a GREAT kittydog!!! :cutie: Sometimes my Butters acts dog-like too, it's hilarious.

**eeep!** Tiara!! Can I be in your club now too? Do we need to take a picture of ourselves in a tiara for initiation??
YES YOU DO. princess: In fact, you just inspired me... Keep an eye out for my next update... :scratchin

Heck ya, girlfriend! ADR day is a BIG day! :cool1:
4 more daysssss! :woohoo:

Woah! Score!! That's so awesome.
I'm pretty stoked about the comp Universal tickets. This same friend did the same for me in September 2014, but that was a solo trip, so it was just one ticket. The fact that he's willing to give up three for me for this trip is just incredibly generous, and I feel very blessed! :goodvibes

So sorry about your car. Car trouble is the worst... its always so expensive and you feel captive because you NEED a car and you've got no control over what they charge to fix it. It's always nice to find a reliable, honest mechanic.
Yeah, this fella my stepdad uses is a good dude. And they're friends and hunting buddies, so I know he won't screw us over. :thumbsup2

Cute toesie-osies! I love that color!
Thaaaaanks! I thought they turned out super cute! :cutie:

cisco-astrid-jpg.100552

These are my furbabies! Cisco is on the left and Astrid is on the right. They are very sweet, affectionate and very, very naughty! Shredded carpets, window screens, and door flashing? ... Zero. Craps. Given.
Look at their little faces! I love them! And to quote Amy Farrah Fowler: "I love cats. They're the epitome of indifference." :cat:

Hi Billie, *waves* I'm Rebecca, 39 years old here...
Hi, Rebecca! :welcome: I'm so glad to finally "meet" you! I feel like we've be dancing around in the same PTRs and TRs for a while now! (PS - I just followed your PTR but will likely be lurking for a bit... I'm waaaaaay behind and have about 30 or so PTR/TRs to catch up on... I'm a terrible DISer! :scared: )

A pink scooter sounds like a great thing, they mostly come in blue or red. I have to get one soon, as my body just can't cope well with wheelchair anymore.
As silly and superficial as it sounds, the pink scooter just tickles me... well... pink! It's not that I love having to use one, but if I gotta, then might as well have some fun with it, right? princess:

We're currently at 414 days. Eager to read of your adventures, even though I'm very late.
I think it was around 414 days or so that I started this PTR, so I feel you! :goodvibes

neat! We may be there in Dec. 2018 (or Jan. 2019) for my kiddos 17th and 12th birthdays!
I'm so glad that I'm not the only one who plans that far out! :rotfl:

'Ohana seems like it will be fun!
Ohana is a big MUST DO for me! One of these days I'm going to force myself to skip it and open that spot up to try something new, but for now, it's definitely on the roster! :thumbsup2

It does have a beautiful aquarium, was not our fave last time, but the servers were all very nice. :)
See, it's funny, I've read a lot of similar things about it. But when I went, everything was DELICIOUS! I am still having dreams about the Creamy Crab Dip... soooo gooood... :cloud9:

*fingers crossed* for you as well
Thanks! My ADR day is Sunday, and I'm super nervous! :scared:

I'm a fan of food as well, and I keep revising our wishlist ADRs for over a year away. *le sigh* lol.
200.gif

Thankfully it is about time for me to make dinner!
I go to Disney to EAT, girl!

What do you think of this place?! My kids and hubby have told me since we'll be at WDW on my 41st birthday that we can do CHARACTER DINING and eat here! :D
If I can score the ADR, this will be my first time here! As comfortable as I am traveling solo, I am very shy and actually am very intimidated by face characters and conversating with them. I can get over it for the few minutes it takes to do a meet & greet in the parks, but I've been avoiding doing face character meals as a solo. (I actually had a dinner ADR here in September 2014, but I ended up chickening out and cancelling it and switching to Coral Reef instead.) Since I have family joining me on this trip, and my aunt is very outgoing and I become more so when I'm with her, I figured this would be a great opportunity to finally do it! :goodvibes

A-freaking-dorable!
It was pretty much the best birthday cake ever. :cutie:

Yumm. Are you a fan of Teppan Edo too?
You know, I've never done Teppan Edo, and that's probably because I do Japanese at home all the time. When I travel, I make an effort to pick places unlike anything I have access to at home! ::yes::

I think there are a number of us in this club, and I intend to stay in it. lol
I do not! I want to do Dumbo, just to cross it off the list! I might try to arrange it for this trip, since my aunt can only ride very gentle things, I figure this would be a good option for us!

I seem to have a bad case of that condition these days. *grin*
I love gifs! :hyper: I usually use giphy.com but lately I've been finding some treasures over at reactionsgifs.com too!

**************************************************

Hey, ya'll! :grouphug:

So, I tweaked my ADR wishlist again. Who's surprised? Show of hands? Anybody? Anybody at all? Bueller? Bueller?

Not a huge change, but one worth mentioning, since I likely just made things even harder on myself. Instead of shooting for a BoG lunch and a Crystal Palace dinner on our MK day, I've amended that to a Crystal Palace pre-park-opening breakfast, and a BoG dinner. Six reasons:

1. Aunt Debby doesn't eat much, I am worried that after lunch at BoG, she may not be hungry enough by 7:30pm to justify a dinner buffet.
2. I want her to be able to meet Beast.
3. In April I learned what a huge difference pre-ordering your lunch online makes, which I'm happy to do, but I don't want to have to ask my aunt & uncle to decide ahead of time.
4. I've never done a pre-park-opening breakfast at MK.
5. Puffed French Toast!
6. I'm apparently a planning masochist.

And yes, this puts me at eight Table Service meals (which is one more TS credit than we have to spend), so I'll just pick-up the check for our Boma breakfast on our departure day.

So there you go. I just made my already tough-to-get ADR list even tougher. I'm awesome. :thumbsup2

Also, I think I've pretty much given up on the idea of switching to Port Orleans Riverside. I'd truly love to stay in a Royal Guest Room there, but it dawned on me that the multiple bus stops may present a problem for me and my ECV. I asked over on the POR thread, and my fears were confirmed... It's pretty much a given that no matter which bus stop I use, I'm probably going to have to load onto buses that already have people on them. After the nightmarish experience I had on my last trip, with the horrible bus driver who (in addition to treating me like crap) let people on the bus ahead of me, and then seeing the dirty looks those people were giving me and the eye-rolling as I struggled to park it inside the bus, I just... can't. I can't deal with it. I can feel the anxiety in my chest just thinking about it. :scared: So... as much as it saddens me... right now I'm feeling like perhaps POR and CBR are just two resorts I'll never be able to stay at. :sad2:

So, that being said, right now it looks like we're sticking with AoA! As I'd already more or less made up my mind to switch to POR, and now I don't think I'm going to, I need you all to get me EXCITED for a Little Mermaid standard room at AoA again! Annnnnd... GO!!! :stitch2:

Speaking of mermaids who happen to be princesses, an idea inspired by @JoshAndEvsMom and @STLMickeyMom and @DonnaBeeGood and so so so many of my wonderful princess friends here...

THE PRINCESS CLUB!

That's right, ladies! The formation of the Princess Club is OFFICIAL. To join, you need just to post just two things in here in my PTR:

1. The Password (Don't know it? It's here in my thread somewhere!)
2. A photo of yourself wearing your TIARA! Or your personal version of a tiara! Sparkle, ladies, SPARKLE!

Have fun with this! princess: And humor me, please... I need help passing these next 4 days!

And since we're on the topic of photos... I am LOVING all the photos of your furbabies!!! :dogdance::cat: Thank you so much for sharing them with me... Keep 'em coming!

4 days till ADR's!! Awesome! I'm always in the same boat as you... I'm constantly changing them, adding and subtracting them. I think with our trip in Sept, we will be paying OOP for 3 meals. Oh well!

And I need to go find my tiara. Be right back. ;)

image.jpg Oh I'm so in!
Tiara!!!!!!!!!
Her Royal Highness Pirate Princess Kelly!

I had to borrow the only thing that was close to a TIARA from Angus :rotfl2:

I think you will love the Mermaid rooms at AoA. We stayed in a Cars suite and really liked the resort a lot. Plus with dedicated bus service just for AoA you should have better luck with the bus not being crowded. I feel ya though, those royal rooms at POR are pretty fabulous and are on my bucket list too. The theming at AOA is fantastic and I think you will really like touring all the different areas of the resort. Plus Landscape of Flavors is huge and has lots of choices for QS.

I like your ADR changes, Even though it's an ambitious list as far as getting all the ADR's you want I'm sure you will get all or most of them. And how cool would it be to eat @ Crystal Palace and get in pre park opening! To be on Main St. All quiet like you have the place to yourselves = heaven!! I'll be rooting for you, after all you ARE the Princess!!

I've amended that to a Crystal Palace pre-park-opening breakfast, and a BoG dinner.

Good changes! I approve. :thumbsup2

So there you go. I just made my already tough-to-get ADR list even tougher. I'm awesome

You are awesome and you'll get them! ::yes::

So... as much as it saddens me... right now I'm feeling like perhaps POR and CBR are just two resorts I'll never be able to stay at. :sad2:

Never say never, Billie! What about your car? It's not ideal but maybe do you a split stay and use your car while you're at POR? I don't know, maybe that's a dumb idea. :o

Oh, and I know I'm late but I really want to post pics of my babies.

20131218_143402.jpg

This is dog Ursa and cat Maya. Ursa is nearing 14 years old. She's a sweetie but her anxiety often gets the best of her. She sleeps in our room with a Thundershirt and a night light. :lmao:Maya is about 5 years old and she loves Ursa. She was raised by dogs so she thinks she's an outdoor cat. She goes out and hunts a little but we try to keep her in the house overnight so she's in less danger from predators or cars.

20141005_171550.jpg

This is Luna. She's about 18 months and she's a menace. She likes to break loose from the backyard, run around the neighborhood and swim in the swamp. She also chews things when we go out. She's destroyed shoes, toys and iPads. :scared1: But I love her anyway. BTW, she's blue from the dye when me and Aidan did the color run. :rotfl:

I'm thinking about changing my screen name to ursaluna. Lita was our boxer who passed away 2 years ago.

So, I tweaked my ADR wishlist again. Who's surprised? Show of hands? Anybody? Anybody at all? Bueller? Bueller?

I, Ben-Stein-as-Teacher, am not surprised. Should I be?

So there you go. I just made my already tough-to-get ADR list even tougher. I'm awesome. :thumbsup2

Well, sure, who doesn't want to do that.

I'm very entertained that you posted this, just because I watch like 500 hours of HIMYM every day because I have no life.

So... as much as it saddens me... right now I'm feeling like perhaps POR and CBR are just two resorts I'll never be able to stay at. :sad2:

Sad ... but I totally understand your reasoning. What happened to you in April was not cool and I totally get not wanting to experience it again.

I need you all to get me EXCITED for a Little Mermaid standard room at AoA again! Annnnnd... GO!!! :stitch2:

1377564_650234393427_776588828_n.jpg

Is the inside of the shower enough or do you need more? I've got plenty of Little Mermaid pictures to get you excited!

1. The Password (Don't know it? It's here in my thread somewhere!)

The password is ... Tiara.

2. A photo of yourself wearing your TIARA! Or your personal version of a tiara! Sparkle, ladies, SPARKLE!

So, Beth and I went to the mall last week and she made me try on a tiara, but I have no picture. So here's the closest thing I have ...
27936_607993065387_1773091383_n.jpg

Yeah, my tiara is a baseball cap. I'm a very sporty princess.
(That picture is from Cars Land in CA, which looks really cool all decorated for Christmas)

Behind...again!

Here is our puppy...9 years old and still our baby girl. Dixie!

This was Christmas morning and she was quite proud she "got" that stuffed animal. Our fierce protector that is scared of the broom!

This was a few days after we brought Nate home from the hospital, 5 years ago. She insisted on sleeping by him!

5. Puffed French Toast!
6. I'm apparently a planning masochist.

Best reasons, in my book.

Puffed French Toast is amazing! I'll be honest and say I got a whole plate of just PFT to finish out our breakfast last year.

And half the fun of planning is reworking everything! Life would be too easy if we just stuck with our first choices!

TIARA! princess:

Excuse the almost midnight selfie mess that I am, but this is my new favorite piece of jewelry...with a story. Nate picked out this loooong gold tassel necklace for me for Mother's Day this year. And he calls it my broom necklace (I see the resemblance) because he says I just "LOVE" to clean. So why wouldn't I want a necklace that looks like a broom. 100% not my style but I do wear it around the house some to make him smile.

And the best version of a tiara that I have...now I just need to figure out what kind of ears to get next trip!

So, I tweaked my ADR wishlist again. Who's surprised? Show of hands? Anybody? Anybody at all?
*crickets* :rotfl:

I need you all to get me EXCITED for a Little Mermaid standard room at AoA again! Annnnnd... GO!!! :stitch2:
OMG, Billie - I'm seriously REALLY excited for you on this!!! I think it's absolutely the right call. I actually spent a good chunk of time wandering AoA on my last night and FELL IN LOVE!!!!!!!! I have TONS of pictures that will eventually make their way into my [slowly moving] TR  So stay tuned for those to get your EXCITED!!!!!! :hyper::hyper::hyper:

We have 2 more TS than we have credits for our September trip so our pre-park Crystal Palace (first time ever!) and out O'hana breakfast will be paid for by us so I totally get wanting to add more. In fact hubby and I have been restraining ourselves from adding more TS.

We had gone back and forth between POR and AoA several times with both being on our bucket list. However it was free dining that made the decision for us because by the time we upgraded dining at AoA we were spending $50 more than if we switched to POR and the next several years we will not have as big of a vacation budget so it would be more feasible to do AoA and quick service another year than to do POR and quick service. With that being said I am a very quiet and shy person and I totally get why you would not want POR, but then there is that side of me that doesn't like your reason. Again I just don't see why anyone should have to go with their 2nd choice and give up on a dream just because people can't get over themselves and keep their thoughts to themselves. I am sure you will love AoA, but I just wish you were not compromising on what you really want.

4 days till ADR's!! Awesome! I'm always in the same boat as you... I'm constantly changing them, adding and subtracting them. I think with our trip in Sept, we will be paying OOP for 3 meals. Oh well!
It's SO HARD to decide, isn't it?! :P

And I need to go find my tiara. Be right back. ;)
Hurry hurry! I want to seeeee! princess:

Oh I'm so in!
Tiara!!!!!!!!!
Her Royal Highness Pirate Princess Kelly!
YAY YAY YAY! I love this! Hi, Princess Kelly! princess:

I had to borrow the only thing that was close to a TIARA from Angus :rotfl2:
That was VERY kind of Angus to loan you his bling!

When I stayed at Pop Century in September last year, I spend an afternoon wandering the different areas of AoA, and then popped into Landscapes of Flavor and treated myself to some DELICIOUS gelato. That was when I originally chose AoA as my choice for my 2015 trip! In the months since, I've waffled on that choice, especially after staying at POFQ and loving it so much. I know I'll like it at AoA, I just need to put myself back in the AoA frame of mind! ::yes::

I like your ADR changes, Even though it's an ambitious list as far as getting all the ADR's you want I'm sure you will get all or most of them. And how cool would it be to eat @ Crystal Palace and get in pre park opening! To be on Main St. All quiet like you have the place to yourselves = heaven!! I'll be rooting for you, after all you ARE the Princess!!
That's the idea!!! To hopefully get some really great crowd-free photos, if I can get us all up and to the park on time! Both of the pre-park breakfasts I'm planning (Akershus and Crystal Palace) and on morning following a relatively early night, so I'm hoping we can do it! :goodvibes

Good changes! I approve. :thumbsup2
You are awesome and you'll get them! ::yes::
Thanks for the vote of confidence! :cutie:

Never say never, Billie! What about your car? It's not ideal but maybe do you a split stay and use your car while you're at POR? I don't know, maybe that's a dumb idea. :o
It's not a dumb idea at all, and is kinda on the lines of what I'm thinking anyhow! The car won't work because it would be just as problematic trying to breakdown and load the ECV into the trunk all the time. Not to mention being able to park my car and not see it for a week is one of that awesome things about a Disney vacation for me! But what I'm think is that we'll stay at AoA on this trip, but maybe on a future solo trip, I'll do some fancy footwork that has me staying at POR for the first night or two of the trip, then moving else where for the rest of the week. Or just booking POR for the 3-night trip I have planned for next year... I can probably deal with the bus situation for just to get to MNSSHP and two park days. I won't love that part, but at least it won't be a whole week of fighting that battle daily, you know? :thumbsup2

Oh, and I know I'm late but I really want to post pics of my babies.
It's NEVER EVER EVER too late for furbaby pics in this PTR! Ever! pug:

This is dog Ursa and cat Maya. Ursa is nearing 14 years old. She's a sweetie but her anxiety often gets the best of her. She sleeps in our room with a Thundershirt and a night light. :lmao:
Awww, what a sweet old nervous puppy!!! She looks like such a good snuggle buddy! :lovestruc

Maya is about 5 years old and she loves Ursa. She was raised by dogs so she thinks she's an outdoor cat. She goes out and hunts a little but we try to keep her in the house overnight so she's in less danger from predators or cars.
She's gorgeous! I love fluffy tuxedo kitties! :cutie:

20141005_171550-jpg.100712

This is Luna. She's about 18 months and she's a menace. She likes to break loose from the backyard, run around the neighborhood and swim in the swamp. She also chews things when we go out. She's destroyed shoes, toys and iPads. :scared1: But I love her anyway. BTW, she's blue from the dye when me and Aidan did the color run. :rotfl:
What a troublemaker! She's lovely, though! So pretty! :cutie:

I'm thinking about changing my screen name to ursaluna. Lita was our boxer who passed away 2 years ago.
Aww! Can you change your screen name here on the Dis? I didn't think you could! Would you just start a new account? :confused3

I, Ben-Stein-as-Teacher, am not surprised. Should I be?
Nope. :rotfl:

I'm very entertained that you posted this, just because I watch like 500 hours of HIMYM every day because I have no life.
I too have no life, so I too have absorbed hours upon hours of HIMYM. Also Big Bang Theory.

Sad ... but I totally understand your reasoning. What happened to you in April was not cool and I totally get not wanting to experience it again.
Yeah, I just feel like maybe it's not the right resort for this trip. Maybe a short trip or a split-stay down the road. :goodvibes

Is the inside of the shower enough or do you need more? I've got plenty of Little Mermaid pictures to get you excited!
I do looooove the grotto shower!!! So very very awesome!!! (But more pics are welcomed!) :cutie:

The password is ... Tiara.
Ding ding ding! :thumbsup2

So, Beth and I went to the mall last week and she made me try on a tiara, but I have no picture.
WHAAAAAAAT!!!! But but but... I wanna seeeeeee!

So here's the closest thing I have ...

Yeah, my tiara is a baseball cap. I'm a very sporty princess.
Hmmmm. I'll allow it! Welcome to the Club, Princess Sarah! princess:

(That picture is from Cars Land in CA, which looks really cool all decorated for Christmas)
The Christmas tree to your left hung with radiators is hilarious!

Behind...again!
Me too!!! :scared: I can barely keep up with this thread lately, much less all of ya'lls!

Here is our puppy...9 years old and still our baby girl. Dixie!

This was Christmas morning and she was quite proud she "got" that stuffed animal. Our fierce protector that is scared of the broom!
Oh my goodness, she obliterated that thing! And she does look awful content with herself, doesn't she? :cutie:

This was a few days after we brought Nate home from the hospital, 5 years ago. She insisted on sleeping by him!
Awwwww!! What a GOOD GIRL!!!!!!! Oh, I love this picture! :lovestruc

Best reasons, in my book.

Puffed French Toast is amazing! I'll be honest and say I got a whole plate of just PFT to finish out our breakfast last year.
I've not tried it yet! I'm so super looking forward to it! I did Crystal Palace once probably 10-11 years ago or so, but it was for dinner. I'm eager to get my hands (and my mouth!) on that Puffed French Toast! :bitelip:

And half the fun of planning is reworking everything! Life would be too easy if we just stuck with our first choices!
You just described my love life. :rotfl2:

TIARA!

That's hilarious that's his reasoning! Too funny!!! And you look good, girl! :thumbsup2

And the best version of a tiara that I have...now I just need to figure out what kind of ears to get next trip!
Close enough! (Also, they make princess ears! Just saying!) princess:

TIARA! TIARA! TIARA!

Ok, fair is fair, here is my Princess Club Entry Submission:

So exciting!
Beautiful! princess: Welcome to the Club, Princess Donna!

You are awesome, we already all know that! Don't forget, you have all of my ADR accumulated luck too!
I sure hope so! Keep sending it this way! :goodvibes

Well, one day when you have your whole Princess Crew along, your Royal Subjects will escort you onto the bus, while the other Royal Subjects ensure that the Coach Driver is on his or her best behaviour!
I freakin' love this imagery! :rotfl:

Omg, I walked by those rooms a few times when I stayed at POP with DD17. I would definitely have booked them, but there was no availability on my dates. However, we went to the food court there a few times - love the make your own pasta bar. They also have metal utensils at their food court. Even the main bathroom is themed. I'd even consider going swimming just to hear the underwater music. And those bathroom tiles look so cool too! Even if the rooms are a bit further from the bus stop, it's a lovely stroll/scoot. And perhaps your bunny friends will join you for the stroll :)
My bunny friends!!! You crack me up!!! :rotfl2:

*crickets* :rotfl:
:thumbsup2 :thumbsup2 :thumbsup2

OMG, Billie - I'm seriously REALLY excited for you on this!!! I think it's absolutely the right call. I actually spent a good chunk of time wandering AoA on my last night and FELL IN LOVE!!!!!!!! I have TONS of pictures that will eventually make their way into my [slowly moving] TR  So stay tuned for those to get your EXCITED!!!!!! :hyper::hyper::hyper:
I wandered it on my September trip too, and it's pretty dang awesome. I totally forgot to take photos, though! I can't wait to see yours! :cutie:

We have 2 more TS than we have credits for our September trip so our pre-park Crystal Palace (first time ever!) and out O'hana breakfast will be paid for by us so I totally get wanting to add more. In fact hubby and I have been restraining ourselves from adding more TS.
I know this cycle well!!! I do the same!!! :rotfl:

Honestly, it's just part of using the ECV. I would prefer high-floor rooms, but I always request ground floor because it's just easier. The important thing is that I'm at DISNEY WORLD!!! Everything else is just details. :goodvibes And AoA was my first choice back when I first booked everything, so I'm really okay with it. I just need to re-route my excitement from POR back to AoA! :cutie:

(But more pics are welcomed!)

Anyone can wander around and see the stuff outside, so I'll start with inside the room pictures. (Sorry that the quality of the pictures is not great, but when I copy them from facebook, it degrades the quality for some reason)

Here is your table inside the room ...

The shower curtain I would have bought if a) it wasn't so expensive and b) I had my own bathroom:
