Is the magic kingdom the only park you can see from a lake view room has anybody else seen epcot or other park from there room ? Just wondering

Just MK

Edit - I was thinking BLT. I am sure it depends what resort.

The BLT villas facing south can see several Disney landmarks on the horizon. Animal Kingdom's Expedition Everest, the Swan and Dolphin hotels at the Boardwalk area, and Epcot's geodesic dome (Spaceship Earth) can all be seen on the horizon. The Characters in Flight Balloon at Downtown Disney can also be spotted when its flying. It helps to have a pair of binoculars to make out all these landmarks. At night, you can see some of the fireworks from Illuminations, Epcot's nightly show.

We have had 2 lake view rooms and we could not see MK at all, facing the wrong side. There might be a room or 2 I suppose that might have a limited view of MK but I am unaware of them. We could see DTD and parts of EPCOT on a clear day but they are pretty far away. Good view of WL....smjj

I've not seen much besides the lake in a lake view. Well, I did see the pool too ;) never noticed any other parks

As mentioned you can see Epcot off in the distance but it's small. We had a LV a few weeks ago and had a great view of MK however. It wasn't a speck way off in the distance at all.

There are some higher floor lake view rooms that can see MK to the left of the balcony, but no other parks to the right. You can see Epcot fireworks in the distance from some lake view rooms, just as I can see MK fireworks from my fourth floor boardwalk view room at the Boardwalk Villas.

We usually get theme park view, and I agree with you....MK is NOT a speck way off in the distance. The fireworks are awesome to see from our own balcony....better than from TOTWL. I really don't know why people expect to see Main Street from BLT. Love the monorail going by and seeing/hearing the steam train making it's way 'round the park. The Halloween fireworks are extra special to watch from BLT. It seems like they almost touch the building.

Even numbered rooms in the north tower can see parts of the Magic Kingdom and some fireworks. Lake view are, generally, fifth floor and above, with standard views below that.

You lucked out!:thumbsup2 I have yet to see the lake in the 2 lake view rooms we've had in the last 3 years. All I saw was the other windows/balconies for BLT....and parts of the pool. We hear the EP loud and clear, but couldn't see it.

Wait, maybe it was that speck of blue/grey off in the distance. That must have been my lake view.

We had a LV on the north side that was the closest we could get without being a theme park view. If we looked straight out the windows we saw the lake. If we were on our balcony we saw the MK. Plus it was the 14th floor so high enough to not be too close to the parking lot. Best view we have ever had a a resort.

We had a lake view room and it had a view of the bridge that connects the Contemporary to BLT.

The room views with pictures thread is a great resource to see what you can see. The folks at BLT tried to put me 7332 once, and I questioned them if that was actually a lake-view room. I don't know how they can call that view of the walkwalk a "lake" view. They found a different room for me.

Thanks for the link. I will check it out. I actually liked the location of the "bridge view" room so I didn't complain. If we stood on the balcony and looked all the way to the left we could see a little bit of the lake! I just thought it was strange that they called it a lake view room.

We are at BLT right now. 16th floor, very end unit. Perfect view of the EPCOT fireworks from our villa. It is a ways away, but you can still see them! We can also see the EPCOT ball, the pool, and lake. Great villa for a lake view unit.
