Where In The World #18. We're an Adult. We're Legal, well for most everything.

All I can say, after looking at the radar, is I hope I'm here to sign on Friday morning! :scared1: Friends in Leander and Dallas area warning us a hell of a storm headed our way...lightening/thunder/50-60 mph winds. This storm is 500 miles long...almost the northern tip of Texas to the coast and moving fast. Guess I need to try to get a little sleep before it it! :tink:

 That's one big storm, be safe.

Last year...the entire year...Austin County had 43.18 inches of rain; through last Tuesday we've already had 30.75 inches. It's crazy...I think they said something about El Nino and the Gulf of Mexico has something to do with it. The Brazos River runs through Austin County. Our head of Emergency Management called for evacuations along the river yesterday. That's the one that's 7-8 miles from us. But still thinking of the people in the Hill Country; reading/hearing heartbreaking stories every day out of that area. They still haven't found the mother and 2 children and 2 others that were in the cabin that washed away. The dad survived and was found and the body of the other mother was found yesterday. I saw a picture on Facebook of an ancient Cypress tree that was washed away; the root ball had to be 30 plus feet. :sad2: The power of a flash flood is unbelievable. :sad2: Found out today the details from a friend whose house was struck by lightening either Sunday or Monday night (the days & storms are "running together"...I can't keep track anymore!). Long story and God was with them but bottom line...the lightening struck their propane tank and they were told by the firemen they were within SECONDS of being blown up. :scared1:

This is from a HS attraction. :tink:

Is the attraction a ride or a show?

Hope you are okay down there. So many sad stories.

This is from an attraction in the AK.

Yes, it is related to bees but not from Rafiki's Planet Watch.

This is NOT from It's Tough to be a Bug! :goodvibes I figured you'd think that. I keep hearing that song in my head now. We're pollinators!! Pollinators!!!

No, this is not from Discovery Island.

This is from an attraction in Asia.

Is it a ride? Kali?

Well that wasn't bad at all...slept through most of it. Guess I'm getting used to it. :rotfl: Only a few limbs laying in the yard to clean up later. :yay: Jeff...it's just as beautiful here....for now. Crystal clear skies and only 74. Now we're in the process of planning for tomorrow's dance recital when there should be about 500 people in the high school auditorium and the brunt of the predicted weather scheduled to hit Bellville between 2 & 4....RECITAL TIME! :scared: :tink:

Glad you finally have clear skies.:sunny:

Two of Redstorm's classmates were rescued...by boat (that's how high the water was! :scared:) with their family from the rooftop during the Hill Country flood. This is their grandparents home in Wimberly. They had to climb out of the bedroom windows onto the roof during a lightening storm! :scared1:
