Aulani menus

As far as I know Aulani has never provided a full menu anywhere online for 'Ama 'Ama, just a sample menu on the Aulani website.

Sorry- let's try that again!

Great pix of the menus, AZmermaid!:thanks: We particularly like AMA AMA for breakfast and lunch. I know the reviews on TA have lots of complainers about the prices at Aulani restaurants, but truthfully I find them pretty average for a high end beachfront Hawaii resort. Heck, I find them pretty average for a nicer resort here in the greater Orlando area. And folks, a bowl of oatmeal or soup at AMA AMA could easily be shared by 2 or 3 people. It's HUGE!

We had breakfast at Ama Ama and it was so yummy. My Macadamia Nut pancakes were amazing! I must not have taken a pic of the menu, but after tax and tip, it was $70 for 2 adults and 2 kids meals. I also thought the prices were in line with a Disney park-not cheap, but not as high as I expected.

Thanks AZMermaid! I've been looking all over for menu pix and it's helpful to have most of them all in one place. Wish they'd put them on the website like they do for the parks! I don't suppose you got pix of the buffet menus or room service?

I didn't sorry! We did not eat at the dinner buffet. The character breakfast was yummy for a character breakfast. They had all your standard breakfast food plus a bunch of Hawaiian and Asian dishes. We thought it made up for in food what it lacked in characters.

We did the family style meal for room sevice. These are available if you are in the villas. Our food was a little overdone- but we had a ton of leftovers for the price. I would try it again to see if the overdone-ness was a fluke.

This is SOOO helpful thanks for posting the pix and receipt! I didn't realize a 20% service charge is included though it makes sense. It's probably still the cheapest sit down meal for 4 you can do at the resort and since we'll be traveling with toddlers this makes a lot of sense. I wonder if they have a family style option for breakfast too? If not they should bc we'd do that one too! ☺️

I added on a $10 tip too, but I was really unsure if the service charge covered that. There was a line for it on the reciept, of course. It was a lot of heavy dishes and she brought it all in, so I did. But I still don't know what was the "right" thing to do.

It totally was a good buy. We cut up chicken on a following day and made burritos- except I forgot to buy salsa! But they were pretty good. We cooked hot dogs and had the mac and cheese later too. We forgot to eat the cobbler a second night! :sad:My kids were 3 and 4.5 when we went and it worked out well for us. The corn didn't keep, but everything else did. The ziploc baggies were mine, but all the other storage stuff was in the villa (we were in a 1 BR).

We rented a movie each night from the community room and the nights we ate in the room were pretty relaxing.

Good to know they have storage containers in the room. I would've done the same on the tip too. Those ceramic dishes are super heavy duty. I'm really impressed with the presentation. Getting very excited for our trip next month!
