ABD Backstage Magic and MNSSHP?

If we do SoCal Backstage Magic in October and MNSSHP is on during the tour, will the tour take us into the party at all, or do we need to get ourselves event tickets and visit separately?

MNSSHP tickets have been included for the corresponding Adventure dates for the last two years.

This information has not been announced for 2015 dates yet.

The assumption is that they would be included, but this is not guaranteed.

Thanks Kevin, I'm way early coz I'm looking at 2016 - but I like to plan ahead!
I assume it gets confirmed at some point pre-tour if they're included though?

I have read other trip reports in the past where people were not told either way. They had bought tickets, and I believe they were refunded. I would suggest calling ABD after the season's tickets and dates are released (so that would probably be July 2016 if you are going Oct 2016) and see if they can tell you for sure. I do not believe the dates for 2015 Halloween have been released yet, but this could be a unique year due to the 60th anniversary.

I can only guess for our trip this year (October) based on the estimated dates suggested based on last year...you have a long wait!

No problem...I'll call after the Halloween party dates are released...probably in July, based on what I read.

If they are the same as last year, there is a party our first night in Disneyland...big if, not sure if there will be Halloween parties in DL or CA, lots of rumors due to the 60th Anniversary stuff! The dates could change, the park could change, our itinerary could be different, there could be surprises...who knows!

We did Backstage Magic in October 2014. We were notified by letter prior to departure that tickets to the Halloween party would be included. There were even a few surprises as well.

Maybe mid August? It was plenty of time to throw a costume together for the party. My sister and I had already bought tickets to the Friday night party but decided to keep them as opportunities for us to attend the MHP are few and far between. The ABD had a few organized activities on that party night so the two parties were quite different experiences.

Keep in mind there are rumors the Halloween party will be moved to DCA this year because of the 60th. hoping the info is released soon so I can stop guessing

I am not sure if that will change the tour plans, because the first night we are in Anaheim, according to the itinerary, we do go in Disneyland.

The Adventure Guides have been known to switch the days around if something was going on in one park or the other that might impact the tour. The itinerary is never written in stone.

I found the letter I received from ABD regarding MHP tickets. It was dated Sep 9th, our tour started Oct 12, so I was about a month before the tour.

Hi, pixiepirate!

We were on the same adults only trip with pixiepirate and her sister on October 12. I just looked at the Facebook group we had and there was a post on August 5 that we received a letter about going to MHP. I also think I might have called ABD before then and had verbal confirmation about the event.
