Help! Reservations seem impossible to get for Nov 2015

I see a ton available for the 27th and 28th? Is there specifics you are looking for. I just pulled CRT, CM, 1900 for both those dates.

Welcome! It never used to be an issue, but with the frustration of not being able to book what you want when you want, the requests are popping up in the oddest places!

Im going Nov 15-21. Despite logging in 10 of 6 on the 180th day mark I could not get ANYTHING at HS or MK on the 15th and very limited choices on the 16th. Interestingly I see reservations in the days leading up to that period (which is FD week so this is not as some have speculated a FD phenomenon) and after leading into Thanksgiving week. And choices at epcot are limited- come on nine dragons was at one point booked solid both days at this stage in the game? That has been my fallback for years.
I had a similar experience with my hotel reservations. The day FD was announced I couldn’t get through and couldn’t book anything online (I was looking for a moderate resort) I continued to call everyday for about two weeks after that and there was nothing available, then one day out of the blue I decided to take a peak online and bam there was several types of rooms types available at Coronado and Caribbean. And it looks like there is still availability for some room types. There is no way that many people canceled in two weeks. Also interestingly when I called to change my reservation the agent could not see the offers I was seeing. So she said just book it get the confirmation number and then she went about changing over my original reservation. I know this thread is about dinning but I think there is definitely some syncing issues within the Disney system. Personally I think they are finding creative ways of steering capacity within the resorts.

Question - when I try to book CRT on the my Disney Experience instead of "not available" it says "to call". Does CRT availability normally show up online or in the app or is it only via phone call (trying for nov 15-17).

It's frustrating that booking 11 days of ADRs this morning resulted in no Biergarten ressie as the tech issue on Disney's side does not allow search ability-period. We also wanted Teppan Edo. No availability--lunch or dinner--from Nov. 27th all the way thru to
our 11th day of Dec. 3rd!! CM said NOTHING has been released yet, due to Candlelight Proc. Pkg. So the period starting 11/27 is worse than FD period in mid-Nov. for the Epcot restaurants!!! Did score an 11/25 Teppan Edo. Got everything else we wanted, incl BOG lunch, Ohana dinner, Cali Grill & Fantasmic Pkg. The 180 + 10 isn't advantageous for Epcot dining after Thanksgiving!!!

we are going Nov9-19 and there are 8 of us and I have not had any issues making reservations I got in every where I wanted even BOG and crystal Palace in MK

I think our problem must be that we are only going for 3 nights. Everything was full from people arriving earlier and staying through our stay.

I spoke to a CM who said she had gotten an email saying there were technical problems with making reservations and they were working to resolve it as quickly as possible. She also said she is seeing restaurants that don't typically fill up being completely booked. I wish the customer service CM I have spoken to would just admit to the tech issues.

So bummed... I was checking one of our MK dates when BOG showed up at 11:35. I clicked and held my breath. And it asked for my password. And. Boom. It was gone. :sad:

I just got an update for the my experience app that stated it would fix a bug with reservations not showing up. I was able to book The Boathouse after updating the app. This was not available prior to the update... I also see availability I did not see when I booked reservations on Monday. It could be a coincidence, but I would recommend downloading the update.

No luck with the app update (still getting the same "to call" message about CRT). But I was able to get both a Boathouse and T Rex reservation by calling the restaurants directly.

Maybe with the sites out there searching for reservations, Disney should add a CAPTCHA to their reservation site.

Question:
So I'm eagerly awaiting our window opening on June 1st (we arrive November 28th). I've been watching online in the mornings to see how quickly CRT and BOG reservations go as soon as the window opens up (today opened up for Nov 23), and within 3 minutes the only thing I theoretically could get was a reservation for 2 for dinner.
Is this typical? Or hopefully just because these are the few days before Thanksgiving?

Our niece's birthday will be on 11/29 so i'm wanting to do anything I can to secure a reservation for breakfast or dinner for 11/29, but it's for 8 people! Any thoughts? Anyone used bot programs, and if so, what was your experience? I hate to go that route, but i'm desperate
