Express Pass Availability June 5-14

We've done US/IO several times with the Express Pass. (We stay at a DVC resort, and spend two days at Universal.)

I usually buy the Express Pass well in advance, but I'm wondering about weather, and would like to have some flexibility when we go.

Are the Express Passes still readily available in June even if we don't purchase them ahead of time? (We would want the Unlimited option.) If so, I'd probably wait until the last minute to decide which days to go. Thanks!

and your question is?....
buy the ep's in advance?

ep prices can be low early out from your date but can increase in cost if park attendance rises.
once you buy the ticket, no increase.

they are date and park related.
if it pours rain, peeps scurry out of the park.

you won't have any waits in most of the ride lines then.
ep are non refundable is which why many wait and buy them while in the park to determine if they really need them.

It is probably safe to wait...Keep in mind that if the projected crowd levels start to go up, the prices of the passes will also go up. If that is important to you, then I would get them

I figure we'll get them regardless, as I've already budgeted it in. The main question now is, can I change the date if I buy them ahead of time? I presume not. I'd like to be flexible on which day of our vacation we go.

No, they are date specific. Either you wait and risk paying more the day of, or you buy them beforehand.

I can't say that I've ever heard of someone saying that they ran out of express passes. I've only heard that they've raised prices when someone went to purchase them because crowds were higher.
