Annual Pass expiration help

Back in February, I bought 4 day hoppers. In May, we used the tickets to enter Epcot. The next day we upgraded to annual passes with no issues.

I went online today and see that Disney has my AP expiration date as Feb. 21, 2016--one year from the original ticket purchase date. Everything I've read talks about the activation date, which is May 14, 2015.

I've been bounced around the AP hotline, ticketing, and main operator 4 times over 15 minutes on the phone this morning. I'm frustrated and need a break before trying again (live chat couldn't help me either). So I wanted to ask here.

Feb. 2016 isn't right, is it? It should be when we first used/activated the tickets, shouldn't it?

yes, there is probably a glitch in the system or someone entered something incorrectly. You could try e-mailing them to get a reply in writing.

We had a somewhat similar situation - purchased the tickets previously (as part of free dining then they were 2 day tickets) upgraded them to 10 day tickets at some point (so that when we were ready to use them we could make 10 days worth of FP+). Then finally used them in January of this year - used once then upgraded. On MDE the correct expiration date shows (which is great) but I keep getting 'your annual pass is expiring' e-mails and postcards indicating that our APs expired 5/19. Called and felt like they just read off of MDE so I didn't feel reassured. Took 2 e-mails (2 weeks apart they didn't reply to the first one) to get a confirmation e-mail that confirmed the January expiration date.

If you have your receipt hold onto it! And if you send an e-mail hold onto the reply - I'm sure they will fix it for you.

This happened to our family as well. Just call the main Disney line and ask for the tickets section. The CM was able to change it to the correct expiration date over the phone, as she could see the first day that we used them/"activated" them was a lot later than when we originally purchased them as 10-day park hoppers (and what had been listed as the incorrect expiration date).
