I am looking forward to booking as Candlelight Procession lunch package. I am hoping to talk DH into dinner at GF with the Tremaines. I may have to give that up for BF with Stitch. This is a super short trip this time. I am *used* to staying a bit longer.

Yeah, getting excited about them but we're just doing QS so not a lot of planning to do. We are hoping to do 'Ohana our first night, a BOG lunch and my daughter wants her birthday treat to be the Kitchen Sink. LOL.

4 days until my week of ADRs begins. We are staying off-site so the 180 days +10 doesn't apply to me, I have to get up every morning before 6am to prepare to make our reservations. I'm keeping my fingers crossed that I can do everything online and don't have to call at 7am to speak with a CM, that would screw up getting my DD8 up and ready for school. Please send

We are also planning to book the Candlelight Processional package but not sure where or for what meal - we haven't done it before. Any recommendations? We arrive 12/26 and are there until 1/2 so any suggestions on which day is best to try for? Thanks!

I'm in the same boat as we are staying off-property as well. I will be up early everyday for a week starting June 1. The only one I'm really nervous about getting is CRT. My DD5 really has her heart set on a meal in the Castle. I'm hoping that being flexible with days and times will help. Would love a BOG dinner but I'm not optimistic about that at all. That just means I'll have to plan a future trip when we'll be staying on-site, lol.

I have no idea. I am waiting for a list of narrators to come out before we make a decision. As for the restaurant, I may spin a wheel to see what we get! HA.

Exactly, June 1st starts very early mornings! Our first park day, Nov 29th is my DD8's 9th birthday, she really wanted CRT, but with 10 of us it's way too expensive. We've compromised and told her we would try to get BOG and next time that we stayed on-site (hopefully with free dining) we would do BBB & CRT.

I am seriously overwhelmed with the planning and starting to panic a bit. :scared:

We're DL vets so the level of planning needed for our regular trips is next to none! I've printed the calendar for the days we are going to be in the parks (Dec 10-15, so 6 full park days) but I've never had to pick which park we will go to on which day since at DL/DCA we just hop back and forth whenever we feel like it.

Question...the fireworks that you can watch from the California Grill at the Contemporary...is that the Wishes Fireworks?

Yes, you can watch Wishes from there or from the beach at the Poly or from Narcosee's or from the TTC. I really think that we will use a FP+ selection in December after seeing how the accomodations were in May. Good luck with your planning and don't let it get you down!

Thanks for the pep talk! DH wants to eat at the California Grill so it works out well that we can also see the fireworks from there as well, saves us having to worry about getting a spot elsewhere to watch from.

When we go to DL, we usually make one or two dining reservations and that is it. Other than that, we eat at whatever is close when we are hungry or if there is somewhere we want to go to, we'll head over there. The sheer scale of WDW compared to DL/DCA is daunting, not to mention FP+!

Almost at 180 day mark! We are definitely booking Hoo-Dee-Doo. It's a family favorite. We have never been to Ohana for dinner - opinions? Also would love to do the MVMCP....just not sure if I can spend the $.

Hi all, can you add me to the roll call? I'm doing a solo trip Dec 13-21. First two days at Cabana Bay at Universal (so excited) then 15-21 at Pop. I originally booked with Free Dining but received a pin code and my TA is working to get me a deal with that. I am waiting to see when the AP discounts come out if it can do even better with the pin code. I'm planning several trips for next year so this was a spur of the moment decision and I want to keep it relatively cheap. I am doing the MVMCP on Dec 15. I cannot wait to see all the resorts (my main reason for the trip) and the holiday stuff in each of the countries in Epcot...and of course all the trees at the various parks...and the Osborne lights at HS...so much excitement!

My family loves ohanas! My sister had her rehearsal dinner there and my uncle still talks about it and that was nine years ago

. My aunt plans on going there on her first trip just because how much her brother liked it

. I think there's probably a split between how many people love it and those who don't, but I do love it :lovestruc

I'm going down with my sister and her family right before Christmas. We won't be doing the MVMCP. I've done it before twice, and they never have. But for the cost of her whole family to go to the party it would be about half of their food money for the trip, or could add another whole day to their tickets and still save money. They decided for now to skip it and reevaluate it down the road.

I'm so giddy, talk to my sister today and her family might be joining us for our trip this December. This will be their first trip to WDW and she said she will just follow what ever I say. It has been seven years since we have had other people join us so I'm kinda nervous. It might be a total of 6 adults, 3 children if my mom and brother in laws mom join us
