I would totally be in on this if it came with a Sherpa. :)

Lovely shots!

It is a little over 4lbs. I've only used it handheld so far, it is much easier to use than I thought it would be. The longest walk I've taken with it is a little less than 2 miles. I carried it by the tripod collar, there are finger grooves in it:) Of course a sherpa would be even better;)
I love watching birds and for the money this lens is well worth it.

I used it with a monopod. Made it a lot easier to lug that sucker along the football field. lol I love it though.

Every time I see photos from that lens, I'm impressed by it. Dollar for dollar, it's hard to beat, that's for sure, and no need to be swapping on and off teleconverters like with my 300 f/4E!

Guess what I just got for Christmas?!!!!!! :woohoo:No more renting this sucker for me! Let the fun begin!!!! Zoo trip is planned in my head really, really soon :thumbsup2Now, if I can actually get myself to go....that's another story.

Congrats! Have fun with your new toy!

I normally rent this lens during football season. It's going to be SO nice to not have to worry about it anymore! I'm so excited. I love this lens so much.
