hi, not sure what I'm doing wrong. I am
Booked nov 28- dec 8. Tried to make an adr today as it said on this site for on-site it was 180 + 10 but it's only showing me up to nov 22. I am logged in and my hotel is linked.

What am
I doing wrong?

Oh so it's 170+ 10?'
Thank Goodness I was feeling so behind. I only just researched the logistics of which park which day which needs to be planned before the ADRs, so I was going to wing it. Still have more time to prepare.

Disney planning takes so many hours and Dh does not realize the work that goes into it!

No it is 180 + 10. 180 days from now is November 22nd. You need to wait 6 more days until you can start booking.

Oh ok Supersnoop I got it now.

I had thought that once you were at your 180 days out, you could book your length of stay . Not just your first 10 days. However, my stay is only 10 days so I guess I'm covered anyway :)

No. 180+10 does not equal 190.
You can start booking your dining at 180 days out from the start of your on-site reservation. At that point in time, you can book up to 10 days into your reservation.

Really, it's 180+[length of reservation], if that makes more sense.

This is a great "Explain it like I'm 5" response. I never understood the whole "180+10" until now. Thanks!

Not to be confused with FP+, which is bookable for your entire length of stay (provided you have tickets for every day). Unless you have an AP, in which case... I forget what happens...

My point is, there's a lot of confusing things to try to remember :)

Thanks so much for posting this questions. I was wondering the same thing. Supersnoop you made it so easy to understand.

Yes, so with FP - when are you able to get that all booked? I'm going to the parks on one day, December 11th but checking into the resort on December 10th. I would need FP for the 11th.

If you are staying onsite you can book your FP+ 60 days out, if you are staying offsite it's 30 days out.

Yes, and in the PP's case it's 60 days prior to check-in date, since onsite guests can book for the length of stay.

30 days is 30 from each individual park day.
