Almost done organising my first self done trip

Car - alamo brits
7 nights villa through homeaway.com
8 nights at the beach club with dining plan
Flights- virgin flying miles

The only thing left are tickets for legoland and univresal/IOA. My question is we are likely to only vist these parks once, (universal and IOA in one day) and have a relaxed first week. Whats the cheapest way to get one day tickets as all the sites seem to be multi day or multi park.

first of all, one day tickets are not cheap. They're the most expensive tickets there are (price per day) and seldom get discounted

I think your best bet would be to order them directly from universal's website (note that you need a park to park ticket if you want to ride hogwarts express) but 2 days seems like a bare minimum.

Legoland Florida is another story. There is a nice combo on ATD with a Legoland + Merlins attractions bundled together (makes a nice evening out of the disney bubble)

you get 14 days of legoland, plus one visit to each of the 3 new attractions on international drive for £50 which (I think) is less than a Legoland 1 day admission + admission to the new attractions.
(ATD offers free tickets for those new attractions with qualifying tickets, but note that if you buy legoland from them to get the free tickets, it's actually more expensive than buying the combo linked above)

One day tickets attract a surcharge thru agents, that's why you don't see them. Better just buying direct but Universal tix are expensive, incl tax $156.56, just over £100pp (£25 more and you can get 14 day tix)
Thankfully Matt got a couple of press tix last year, saved me £200.

I need a one day Seaworld ticket, where is best to get that please?
Seaworld quite often have offers on one day tickets. If there are no offers when you are going they used to have a discount for buying online in advance too.

Haven't been for a few years so not sure if anywhere is better now.

Realise 1 day tix are poor value however with a one and 4 year old we are thinking a quiet non disney week with justa day at legoland and a day a universal. Maybe we should do 2 days at universal for the price and take it easy on those days

Just popped over to the UK boards to see what you all were up to. Thought I'd weigh in on this in case it helps. Do you have access to undercovertourist.com? They often have discounts the same as the Universal site offers and at times even deeper discounts! While I've not personally ordered from this site myself, many friends have done so and have no complaints. I know they are offering '3rd day free' ticket offer at the moment. Also, both Universal site and UCT have an Orlando flex ticket which includes Sea World and both Universal parks as well as a couple waterparks as well for use over 14 days. I believe the flex ticket includes park to park daily privileges. I think the prices shown on UCT already include tax. Hope this helps a bit!!
