How Many Times Did I Meet Pluto This Trip? A Dec Solo TR - New TR Link 11/30!

Love the Living Seas pavilion. It's a great place to hang out!

Your pictures of DLP souvenirs and map are fantastic. Are you planning on heading there to visit?

I'm in the middle of your report it just have to ask.....where did you get your Pluto bag???? My daughter is a HUGE fan and I can never seem to find Pluto specialty stuff!!!!

P.S. Loving your TR!

I've been enjoying your TR! Love all your Pluto purses and shirts! I can't believe I missed my chance to dive in the Living Seas for free. What was I thinking??? (I worked at another aquarium and they allowed us to dive other aquariums in a reciprocal agreement).

Soarin' for me, as good as it is, is all about the soundtrack too. I guess that's true of a lot of Disney stuff come to think of it.

Love the Paris stuff you got! Disneyland Paris is one of my dream destinations.

I haven't been on soarin since 2012 hopefully I can get back on in 2016. I also love the seas with nemo and the aquariums. All of the different fish are just so interesting to me.

I definitely want to make it to the overseas parks someday but first up on my list is Disneyland and a Disney cruise.

Yes, you need to get back on Soarin'! I can spend hours watching the fish in the Seas building.

The Paris items are so cool! Love the magnet, I'm sorry the shirt didn't fit you though.

I agree, I wish Soarin was always so crowded because I would love to ride it multiple times!!

HAHA I love the pic of Crush with his hand to his head- so funny.

Great pictures of the tanks!

I was bummed that the shirt didn't fit. Well I probably would have worn it in my 20s but I just don't do that tight anymore.

I guess that's why Soarin' is so crowded, everyone wants to ride it!

Crush was a little frustrated by the kids during this show.

I love your collection from Disneyland Paris! Although the souvenirs are great, I think I would be most excited about the maps! :thumbsup2

I always enjoy wandering around the seas. It's not usually insanely crowded and it's always cool in there on a warm day.

I was very excited by the maps and spent a lot of time looking over them.

I could wander through those tank areas for hours if there wasn't a bunch of other stuff to get to in Epcot.

first off i LOVE the title to the next installment! HA HA!

Hope Jim was OK. your camera did a great job on the ride and with crush!!!

OMG the pluto stuff from Paris is out of this WORLD!!!! so sweet of them!!!

Jim was fine, he just works with a lot of idiots and gets frustrated occasionally. I can't even remember at this point what was going on that time.

I love all of my Paris stuff!

Great update, Ariana. Love your gifts from Disneyland Paris.

Love Soarin'. I always ask for front row and they are always accommodating.

I think the walk through the queue is at least ten minutes long at Nemo so they weren't far off on the wait time. ;)

You got some awesome pictures of the fish...great job.

I know where you are eating. :)

I do ask for the front row sometimes, not sure why I didn't at that moment.

That is probably true about that queue! Kind of like the one for Little Mermaid in MK, totally unnecessary most of the time.

What great gifts from Disneyland Paris!

I agree with you on Soarin'! If I could I would ride over and over again. I love to listen to the music at home - I can almost smell the oranges!

I'm glad Nemo and Turtle Talk ended up having short waits. They were big hits with our boys. Turtle Talk is really a fun show!

Great aquarium pictures!

I was very excited to receive the Paris gifts.

I think most people would ride Soarin' over and over! I have the music on my computer at work and listen to it often.

I was happy with the short wait times despite what the signs said!

Between Living with the Land, and the aquariums at the Living Seas, I could spend an entire day just there.

I probably could too if it wasn't for the pull of the rest of Epcot!

Love all your fishy pictures :) I really like lingering around and watching the tanks. So relaxing, I almost forget there is magic out there to explore!!!

Thanks! I could spend hours in there if there wasn't so much else to do in Epcot.

It definitely is a great place to hang out!

I hope to make it there someday but Disneyland and a Disney cruise are on my list first.

I'm in the middle of your report it just have to ask.....where did you get your Pluto bag???? My daughter is a HUGE fan and I can never seem to find Pluto specialty stuff!!!!

P.S. Loving your TR!

It was custom made. I will send you a PM to the designers page on Facebook which is where she sells the bags.

hey girl! just wanted to ask how/where you ordered your groceries?

I ordered through Garden Grocery. It was my second time using them and I was very pleased both times.

I've been enjoying your TR! Love all your Pluto purses and shirts! I can't believe I missed my chance to dive in the Living Seas for free. What was I thinking??? (I worked at another aquarium and they allowed us to dive other aquariums in a reciprocal agreement).

Thanks! Oh, that would be awesome to do a dive there. Of course I would have to learn how to dive first!

Soarin' for me, as good as it is, is all about the soundtrack too. I guess that's true of a lot of Disney stuff come to think of it.

I think that's the great thing about Disney, how they combine everything together to make awesome attractions!

Hey everyone, I hope you had a wonderful holiday weekend. Jim and I had a great time. We went to see Tomorrowland which we both enjoyed and then yesterday we went to some antique stores where I found some new Pluto stuff!

First was this little book:

I'm not quite sure what this next item is supposed to be. The picture itself is the size of a baseball card but I have no idea why it was mounted on a plaque. It was only $2 though and since it had Pluto on it, it came home with me. I may try to remove the card if possible to see if there is anything on the back.

I got this Pluto pop up toy. Other than the missing nose, he's in great shape. I haven't played with him yet to see how the strings work as I'm a little nervous about damaging him. They are pretty hard to find in such good shape and for such a cheap price. I can't believe it but the seller only had $12.99 on him. I may try to find one on Ebay that still has a nose and do a transplant. Sometimes people sell them cheaply just for the parts.

The final item was this Disneyland Pinball game.

A couple close-ups of the details.

Also I wanted to apologize because the links on the first page of the TR are not up to date. For some reason I'm having the worst time getting them to work. I don't think it's me because some days they work fine when I add them and other days I get an error message. Hopefully I can get them fixed soon.

Those look like some great pick ups! I haven't made it to see tomorrowland yet even though I want to.

Now it’s Time to Eat the Fishes Part 1

If you haven’t figured it out by the title, I was headed around the corner of the Seas Building for lunch at Coral Reef.

I checked in and it wasn’t long before I was lead to me seat. Like my previous solo experience here, I was seated on the bottom level, one row away from the windows. I was happy to spot one of my favorite guys right away.

There was a group of divers in the aquarium, I’m guessing it was one of the behind the scenes tours.

My server brought out a basket of rolls which were yummy.

I was doing the Candlelight Processional package so I got an appetizer. I ordered the Creamy Lobster Soup.

This was not exactly what I was expecting but man was it good! I seriously wanted to pick up the bowl and lick it clean.

For my entrée, I got the Seared Mahi Mahi and subbed mashed potatoes for the rice. I also got the sauce on the side because you know how picky I am by now.

The fish and mashed potatoes were excellent. I’m not a huge fan of shrimp (too rubbery for my tastes) so I only picked at those.

As I ate, I took more turtle pictures.

When it came to dessert, there is only one thing I order at Coral Reef, the Baileys and Jack Daniel’s mousse.

This is one of my favorite desserts in all of WDW so of course I enjoyed it. I will admit I was getting very stuffed at this point and had a bit of trouble finishing it.

Just as I was getting ready to roll myself out of the restaurant, somebody came over to check out all the people in the people tank. This resulted in one of my favorite pictures from the trip.

After lunch it was time to head to WS for the afternoon. My Candlelight Processional time was 5 pm so I really didn’t have a huge amount of time before I had to get in line.

I walked through Mouse Gears but didn’t buy anything at that time, then headed towards Mexico. There was a meet and greet I didn’t want to miss that started at 3:10 pm.

I got to Duffy’s meet right at 3 pm but the line was still roped off. There were several people standing around waiting. I found a seat in the shade and waited. 3:10 came and went with no Duffy. About 3:15 a CM came out and said Duffy was running late and wouldn’t be out till 3:40. I didn’t want to wait around that long so I left and headed towards Mexico.

I decided to go visit Donald and his buddies.

Now it’s Time to Eat the Fishes Part 2

It was almost 3:40 when I finished up with Donald so I headed back to the Duffy greet. Most people had given up by this point so there were only two groups waiting before me. And for some reason, right when Duffy came out, the couple in front of me left. They had been there with me at 3 pm so I have no idea why the left.

Some pictures while I waited.

And my pictures with Duffy. I loved his Santa suit.

I wanted to be in line for the CP by 4 pm so I needed to hustle my way around the lake. But luckily as I left the Duffy meet and greet I noticed the boat to Germany was just pulling up so I hopped on board.

There was already a bit of a line formed so I ended up right across from Japan.

I struck up a conversation with the couple behind me. They were from my hometown of Pittsburgh PA but had lived in Florida for 14 years. We also had a bit of entertainment in the form of the Japan drummers.

I also got to watch a poor little girl get pooped on by a bird. Her parents were trying to be sympathetic but were having a hard time not laughing about it which just made her mad.

The time went by quickly and it wasn’t long before we were heading into the theater.

Up Next: Candlelight Processional

Looks like a fun time in World Showcase! I haven't eaten at Coral Reef but have looked into it. It looks like a good experience.

That's funny that, that girl got pooped on. My dad actually got pooped on when I was seven in Disney. He wasn't happy but the rest of us could help but laugh.

Those look like some great pick ups! I haven't made it to see tomorrowland yet even though I want to.

I have so many Pluto items so I rarely find new stuff outside of Ebay. So I was very pleased that I found so many items yesterday!

Nice purchases you made over the weekend! :)

Sounds like a great meal, and what an awesome last picture you got!!

Great pictures with Duffy!

Can't wait to hear about the CP.

I'm glad you had another good meal at Coral Reef. I have to admit as fussy as you are that I'm surprised by your soup choice. And, of course, we all knew which dessert you were getting.

Glad you got an attraction in before you had to line up for the CP (they really need to do something about that whole line thing...it's a nightmare).

Can't wait to hear who your narrator was and how it went.

I've never been to Coral Reef, but it does make me giggle that in the midst of the aquarium and all the sea life therin, I might have a hard time ordering fish.

Oh my I do so love the Mexican Pavilion. I actually remember walking in there for the first time and sincerely having my mind blown.

SANTA DUFFY!!!! That is one special bear right there.

EPCOT_WRLDSHOW_7113693735_zps9f71bc9f.jpeg

And he's almost got the Doctor Evil impression down perfectly.

Oh Coral Reef. The most morbid yet awesome restaurant at WDW. :lmao: I'm glad you enjoyed your meal! That picture of the turtle is amazing!

Duffy is just too cute. I love that he gets holiday outfits!

Ooooh, curious to see who your narrator was!

Great pictures at Coral Reef! I've heard such mixed reviews of that place that I'm always hesitant to book but your dinner looks delicious!

I'm glad you got to meet Duffy! He's so cute in his Santa suit! How strange that the family left as he came out. Maybe they were expecting someone different?

Can't wait to read about the CP!

Those Epcot birds just do that all the time!!! We have one of my favorite home video moments in Epcot when my Mom was videotaping the fife and drum band and my brother and I start screaming about the bird pooping on her head...while she continues to film and ignore us. Everytime we watch it we crack up!!

I love your peeking turtle picture :)

I love Coral Reef, it's one of my favorite restaurants in WDW.

It is hard not to laugh when that happens. I spent a lot of summers at the Jersey shore growing up and it was a miracle if you made it to the end of the week without getting pooped on at least once.

Nice purchases you made over the weekend! :)

Thanks, I was very happy to find so many Pluto items I didn't have already.

I crack up every time I look at that last Sea Turtle picture!

I honestly wasn't sure I would like the soup but I had to order something since I had the CP package. There are very few appetizers that I like and I struggled to find a restaurant for the CP package that had both an appetizer and a dessert that I liked. The only appetizer I order regularly at WDW is the Scotch Egg at Rose and Crown. But R&C doesn't have a dessert I like so I went with Coral Reef since dessert is way more important to me. :rotfl:

The line really was a bit of a nightmare. I was back in Epcot on Saturday around 11 am and there were already people lined up in the standby line for the 5 pm show! I'm really glad I went with the package.

Yep, nothing like eating fish while watching some swim by! I think that Sea Turtle in my last picture was a bit disgusted by all the fish eating he saw!

The Mexican Pavilion is just beautiful. I love how unexpected it is when you walk in there.

So that's what he's doing with his hand! I was totally confused when I saw the photos. :confused3 :rotfl2:

Yep morbid but awesome definitely describes the restaurant! I've eaten there three times now and have always had a great meal.

I've eaten there three times now and have always had a great meal. Granted, I don't have the most sophisticated palette but I enjoyed the meals!

I still wonder what was going on with that couple. They were foreign so maybe they had no idea what they were waiting for? Or maybe they didn't like the Santa suit? It was definitely weird when they left.

Now that's a funny story! I don't blame you for cracking up every time.
