Hi Fellow WDW Fans,

I'm getting the blessing of visiting the WDW Resorts in September for 5 days. We're staying in the Caribbean resort, and we're all counting down the days.

I have an autoimmune condition that comes with seizures. I'm not a stoner teen out with my buddies. I don't drink or 'party'. I'm a middle aged family guy with 2 kids that are all grown up. I would love to be taken seriously.

My condition is helped by the use of cannabis, making my seizures and pain manageable. (I prefer vaporizing, edibles make me very sick).

I have no ambition to scout out Orlando for a 'fix'. I am interested in anybody else's experience in safely using without the fear of Mickey's Police Department banning them from the resort. I'm not interested in smoking on the Pirates of the Caribbean. I have no ambition to practice anything but discretion. I would love to enjoy the parks without slowing the rest of my group down.

I love the parks! I would really enjoy the experience without having to stop every 5 minutes to rest.

Any serious input, advice, and personal experiences would be greatly appreciated!
ThankyouThankyouThankyou

Florida does not have a medical marijuana law, so it's not getting banned from the resort that would be an issue but actual law enforcement. I would talk to you doctor about alternatives for the time you are there even if they don't work as well.
Btw I don't think anywhere in the actual parks would be "safe" and if it is spotted during bag check you can be denied entry or worse.

yep sorry to tell you but FL dose not allow that any where and if they find it you will be in jail. I would try and find some other way to deal with deal with your medical problems

Agree with the others.

Even if you get it past TSA (assuming you are flying), Florida has smoking laws regarding where you can smoke. The parks and resorts only allow smoking in designated areas. As far as I know from people who vape regular vaping liquid, the laws about where you can smoke also apply to vaping.
The smell of marijuana is kind of distinctive, so other smokers would know it's not regular tobacco.

At best, you have a good chance of being found out and it being confiscated, leaving you with no pain relief. At worst, you could end up thrown out and arrested.

Not in the actual parks...There's 47 square miles of land there. I don't care to get high in the actual parks. I can't be the only person to have wondered this. I think the right people aren't responding. I have been told (and already knew) it's illegal. I'm hoping for successful first hand accounts without judgement.

If kids can get high on the rides for kicks, it infuriates me I have to hear "Sucks to be you".

No one is going to help you figure out how to break the law.

Sorry you didn't like the answers, but that's what it is. Since the question was asked and answered, I'm closing the thread.
Hopefully, you can figure out something legal with your doctors.
