We Get married in October offsite at cypress grove and are staying at Disney Animal Kingdom Lodge, We have the ceremony booked and a wishes firework cruise booked in the evening but i am struggling with what to do inbetween, there will only be 7 of us, i am looking on site mainly but will consider offsite places.

At the minute i feel like the day with be like a yo yo driving all over the place.

Can anyone help or offer me any suggestions.

times would help? you do want to minimize the back and forth. it's a lot to just do the things you are doing. smaller groups i think are easier to manage entertainment wise, say up front there is a time on your own in between. are people dressing up for your cruise? are you doing pictures at the cruise? i think wearing a gown and trying to look picture ready in florida is a challenge for several hours and can be a challenge to the guests. what times and locations and events have you already set up? :flower:

Thank you for your reply, We get married at 1:30 at cypress grove and will be there till about 3pm with a cake and drinks reception, we were then going to go somewhere else for photos ( Still to decide where ) and then for a meal, I was planning on changing into a smaller dress for the firework cruises which we need to be there for 9pm at Gran Floridan. we were not planning any professional photos for the cruise, just what we and the guests take,

Our hotel is AKL and the other guests are staying at the Rosen inn on I Drive. I Dont know if the guests are planning on dressing up for the cruise, the response i get when ask them for thoughts is its your day so what ever you want which doesnt really help me...

Do you definitely need to be at the GF for 9pm? What time is Wishes that night?

Do you want to stay with your guests the whole day or happy to split up?

Do you want to do weddingy things or are you happy to do something a bit different?

Wishes is at 10 i think i know on the phone they said the boat leaves at 9.30 so to be there 30 minutes before.
The guests can stay with us im not too bothered the only things is i have my dad and stepmum. Mum and grandma and they dont all see eye to eye :-(

I have just had a look on disney and seen the spirit of Aloha at 5.15, do you think this would be ok it just looked a bit fun and different.

So i'm thinking leave Cypress Grove at 3pm and travel to the Wilderness Lodge, you can have some photos taken and your guests can have a look around. You can then get a boat over to the Poly for the Spirit of Aloha show, I think a dinner show is a good option with guests who don't get on, then after the show you can get the monorail around to the GF for drinks in the bar or the lobby while listening to the band then board the boat for your cruise.

Thank you very much, sounds like a much more relaxed day rather than driving all over the place, best call Disney and see if we can get in for Aloah.

Thank you so much for helping me decide and for your suggestions.
