Anyone bought anything particularly nice or had any bargains with their shopping for this summer? I've lost nearly 3 stone now and need some inspiration for my Italy holiday this summer.

I haven't bought anything yet Libby, but like you Im looking for inspiration as well for the summer. I do love my dresses so Im hoping to get into some lovely summer dresses this year.:cool1:

So far I've just bought some lightweight black trousers that I can either dress up or down. I'm seeing lots of things that I'd like to get but have the dilemma of shall I buy it now while the summer stuff is in the shops or wait until nearer the time as my size is still going down?

When does the summer stuff start disappearing from the shops? I know the clothing seasons are out of synch with the weather. (Ask me who had their first baby during February blizzards but was so superstitious that she only had 6 borrowed baby grows and a bag of nappies so when DH was sent out to buy the rest of the things on the list the shops were full of t-shirts and not a snowsuit to be had?)

Don't leave it too late , up here most of the shops start changing their clothing ranges from mid June so by July they have pretty much had the end of season sales going a while. It you really see something you like and want to take on holiday just buy it there and then. If after a couple of weeks you see something you prefer more take your first item back to the store fore a refund then buy the other one instead.
Mens t-shirts in Primark (for character ones) are £8-£10 each at the moment and their mens shorts start at about £14.99 up over in lots of colours designs and fabric choices. The womens and kids departments had cute tops and things too starting at about£2.50 and above. They had a few sun dresses from about £15 up over that I walked past last week that looked lovely and plenty of sandals in all colours sizes fits and different heights .

I got myself a new pair of prescription sunglasses today and I think that probably is about as far as my holiday shopping will go. I will need a few odds and ends for the costumes for the Halloween parties at Disneyland and Walt Disney World and I need to get a couple more t-shirts printed, but that is it.

Cheating a bit here as I didn't buy them myself, they were a present from my DD, but I have a pair of nautical Disney flip flops! Will post a photo later.

Those flip flops are gorgeous!

I'm still holding off buying much, but keeping an eye on the shops in case the summer stuff starts to disappear. I'm hoping to go down another dress size before August.

Although I have 465 days to go, I have spotted some lovely stuff at Paperchase - luggage tags, travel pillow, ticket wallet etc. Taking all my will not to start buying up loads! :rolleyes1

I bought a new suitcase today using my clubcard boost points at Tesco.

Still got 3 months before I need to pack it though. :)

Nice case, Libby :thumbsup2

I've bought this top in Asda, I've got quite a few tops with birds on now so think my DDs are going to tease me about it.

I bought these wedges this week in Dorothy Perkins, they are so light and comfortable and 20% off original price.

I also bought this Billie and Blossom dress in Dorothy Perkins reduced to half price, looks lovely on and the first dress in a size 12, I have been able to get into for a long time. @Ware Bears Elaine, it also has birds on lol

Not bought anything for myself, but I have bought a couple of small things for the grandson. I'll probably get a few things towards the end of June/beginning of July.

I love those wedges, Sue.

Having promised myself no shoes or sandals this year I'm now going a bit silly on clothes. I think it's because now I'm a size 16 there is much more choice and things look better on than when I was a 22. However I'm still losing so I shouldn't really be buying too much.

I got these tops in Debenhams

I hasten to add it's not a picture of me - if it were I wouldn't be spending so much money with Weight Watchers! :rotfl2:

Anymore shopping done? I bought some black jeans, and another pair of wedges, but nothing very exciting!

I finally did some holiday shopping. With rumours being around that Southern California is going to see a bit more rain during the autumn, I figured I better get a new rain jacket.
