"Official" Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party 2015 Thread - Rockin' Around the Cinderella Castle!

Our group has a 5 PM reservation at O'hanas. I plan on having everyone there early to check in and then even if it takes us a couple of hours to eat and get back to the MK we won't miss any of the Holiday festivities.
 
We are going Nov 15-21st. Four MVMCP will be going on during our trip. I was originally thinking that I was going to upgrade to a Moderate (we are staying at ASSp) but now I think I would rather splurge on going to a MVMCP and eating at more signature restaurants during our trip. I've stayed at a value resort many times before so that doesn't bother me. Now to decide which party to go to. Sunday, Tues, Thurs or Friday? I'm thinking Tues or Thurs for the lowest crowds?
 


Is the first party (Nov 8) likely to sell out? We will be coming home on November 9 or 10th, but want to do MVMCP, so the 8th will be our only choice. I don't mind buying tickets ahead of time...just wondering if the first party traditionally sells out?
 
Great thread!! I just purchased my tickets for our first MVMCP!! We're going on Nov 17th!!!! So excited!
 


Just finalized our pland for the 4th. Taking a chance since we're flying in that morning but we have a 5 hour cushion and it will save us the cost of adding a day to our park tickets.

Yes the first party is likely to sell out, at least it did last year. I don't think it sold out until sometime in September or October. But a sel out is a sell out. The crowds weren't to bad either saw all the characters I wanted to see saw the parade the fireworks and the stage show, had treats, it was great which I why I am going again
 
I though we were headed west this December. But My DH is talking about going back to Disney world, it is his favorite time to go so I'm not surprised. We will be there December 1-8.
Southwest will be coming out with there sale soon so waiting on that and of course I have our 180+ ADR highlighted on the calendar to get everything we want Our party dates will either be the December 3rd or 6th. This will be our fourth MVMCP, always a great time.

Yes the first party typically does sell out, closer to the Fall, but it will most likely be sold out as it has the past few years.
 
Just bought our tickets!!! We will be going on November 20th!!

I do have 1 question - I booked Wishes Dessert tickets for the 20th too. I thought they didn't do that on the party nights. Is this a glitch or do they have the dessert party on MVMCP nights too?

I'm pretty sure they do too but man if get a better view if I were you! The party is already giving you cookies and hot chocolate and a superior view since the park is less crowded you'll get an amazing view and the fireworks surround you in front of the castle!

We booked Wishes Dessert tickets for that night too! We will be just off of the Disney Dream that morning and in the park for the party that night! 2nd Disney Cruise and 2nd time to MK. :)
