No Poly Pool Hopping?

Either make pool hopping across ALL DVCs or do away with it. That was kinda my point. It's no good anyway if they just keep adding places that can't be hopped to.

Personally, I could care less, but I may more in the future as our DD gets older. We have never pool hopped anyway. To me, it's a waste of precious vacation time just going back and forth, but that's just me. To what end? A pool is basically a pool (at least at WDW).

This whole "You can go here but you can't go there." thing is stupid. Would it really be that big of a problem? No. It wouldn't.

AKL/V was because of the animals, BLT is because of the size of the pool, BC/Yc because that pool is so popular, think the same can be say of the Polyn.

although think I like the pool at OKW a little more than the Poly

No hopping at BLT? Thanks for the info. VWL?

I have to agree with Wilson Flyer, either make it for all, or do away with it. We stay where we want to swim and honestly pools are so crowded not really into adding more than the registered guests to it.

I can understand limiting it due to capacity issues at some pools. BLT due to size, BCV due to popularity. While it can be confusing, I still like the option where it is available. As DVC continues to grow it very well may go away.

don't think it will until DVC comes out with a value and/or moderate version - so far dvc is only deluxe - so you can definitely pool hop to all the value (except AoA) and moderate pools. although with the values I think you need to bring your own towels?

My kids are at the age that pools are very important. Going to the water parks to swim takes up a huge part of the day and are expensive for an hour or 2 in the wave pool.
We look at the polls to save time and money.

Values are boring and not worth visiting.
Akv has an awesome kids area. Blt is a short walk from magic kingdom for a midday break.
Poly kid area and a monorail ride away looks like something awesome to me.

Now i would stay at Okw and go to poly if I could hop there during the day for lunch and swim without a long bus ride

I'm not sure it really is a capacity issue - if it were, during peak pool times all pools would be closed (and they do for holidays). BWV and VWL both get very crowded in the Summer months. And during non peak pool times, all pools would be open - even SAB is no where near capacity on even warm days in January.

I think its a sales thing - as long as some pools allow hopping, they can tout hopping in sales presentations....and I think that it doesn't have that much of an impact because its so limited now that few members bother. I do expect it to go away at some point, but I've been expecting that since the first pools went off limits.

I think you can still hop over to the main Contemporary pool right, and also the main GF pool, so those are still options on the monorail.
