Kudos on the Disneyland Video

As a longtime Dis Unplugged listener (and now watcher) I have enjoyed all of the video montages on the podcast. This newest Disneyland video, however, really impressed me. The music, editing, use of slow motion etc really worked to evoke a sense of excitement as well as nostalgia for the park.
The video production for the Dis Unplugged is truly second to none as far as the internet and Disney fan sites go. It rivals professional video production found on television and that of Disney itself. Awesome!

@WebmasterPete,

Thank you so much - I REALLY want to go to Disneyland now, so thanks for another hole in my pocket :p

Also Pete, Please help Tom take the DIS Unplugged Disneyland edition to video...do you know how much more interesting it was to see Michael tell his stories in person, and see the expressions on his face...it really makes his stories come to life. I would highly enjoy if the Disneyland edition would be as to what the Orlando edition is with videos, and content of Disneyland everyweek - it would really be something special.

I was hoping someone else had made a thread I could add my voice to. Ryno's (spelling???) video was absolutely superb. I've never had so much of a desire and itch to go to Dosneyland as I have today thanks to his video and The DIS' coverage of the 60th anniversary celebration. I don't think it will be any time soon for me to make it out there but I have to say just a brilliant job with the hype. And of course a beautiful video.

I agree! The Disneyland videos have been spectacular! I'm dying to go for the first time and wish I had a trip coming up soon.

Watching now, loving it, getting me more excited for our stay in October. I have booked a premium view room too:cool1:

This is the first time watching though and it is funny seeing them all (I listen to both editions). Their faces aren't how I pictured them, and watching them it is like someone else head to their voices!

Looking forward to all the other DL videos.

Wonderful Job, Ryno! A really impressive, highly professional project. I love the continuity with Walt Disney narrative in the intro and conclusion. The editing was incredible. All shots, even the pans up, were consistently & evenly done. I also really enjoyed the new clips re electrical parade & Matterhorn. Great quality work all around. Proud to be a DISer.

I tried to comment on the youtube page, but I couldn't get it to work. I love this video! The slow mo at the end with the voiceover had me weeping.

I also realized that I missed a lot of things on my one and only trip out there. Some because they were down for rehab, and some because I just didn't get to them. Can't wait to go back and do them all!

Thanks to everyone on the DIS team for such outstanding content. You all rock!

I am a DL local and long-time watcher of the DIS Unplugged. I am enjoying ALL of the 7 in 7+ content so much and am eagerly anticipating the remaining days! I truly appreciate all of the time and effort spent on this content. And now - despite living 7 minutes from DL - am planning a weekend (or two) staying at the resort!

The podcasts this weekend are incredible... but I thought it was hilarious when one of the guys from the Disneyland DIS was trying to talk up all the great things to do in Anaheim... and he references Red Robin and Joe's Crab Shack! That's what I look for when I go on vacation: hugely popular national restaurant franchises that I can find in any suburb in this country!

But overall it's been great listening to all of them.

Just trying to point out that there were close options to eating on property and a lot of them.

Oh I know, I was just kidding. You guys are doing an awesome job! I love your passion!

And I do love me a Royal Red Robin Burger!

I listen to the Podcasts, but I watched the overviews, including the Disneyland one this morning. They are all awesome. It does really make me want to go to DL next year instead of WDW. I can see why Pete loves the Disneyland Hotel. I would love to stay here sometime.
