Hi, sorry that I'm putting this in here, but I can't find another place to ask. I got an email from Universal today with a "Unique Code". I've never seen this before, and it says I have to call to get the rate. Anyone ever had any experience with this... It says I must book by June 14 to use it. Here is what it says...

Well it's lower than all the previous prices quoted before my page ran out..... It's a lot less than I paid!!!

These were the only dates we could go and I have been trying for weeks to find a decent rate. Kept getting $380 a night. We love Portofino, but I can't justify $380 a night. Then last week I saw APH bay views for $280 so I grabbed them. A few days later garden views opened up for $229. Just goes to show you have to keep trying!

I decided to try the club room when it became available. I have three teen/pre-teen boys to feed so I think their consumption of food and drink will more than make up the extra cost of a club room. And I am not opposed to a little wine at the end of the day either.

I got one of those call in email offers and it got us an extra night at HRH in a deluxe queen and saved us about $200 for the stay. My previous rate was about 333/night and we dropped to about 223/night from 11/21 to 11/25. I had booked it hoping to add APH later.

EDIT : We are OUT this summer .
Due to the lack of AP rates for the room type we really wanted in August (PBR Suite) . We are not willing to downgrade and pay lots more money for it. Lack of EVER offering Universal AP rates at Loews for our time frame has altered our vacation plan !
For the cost of our rooms ONLY at Universal (2 connecting RPR STANDARD rooms for 2 nights) , we are replacing it with a 2 bedroom Suite at Hilton Grand Sea World for 2 nights , and doing Discovery cove , Sea World and Aquatica for the same price as the rooms ALONE at RPR ! Yes, our thats the whole cost for 6 people going to Discovery Cove , Sea World and Aquatica AND a 2 bedroom Suite at Hilton Grand ............is about the same cost as the rooms alone at RPR Universal !
