Adding days of tickets and fp+

Help please? I've currently got 5 day tickets with my package. I have 5 days of fp+ booked. There is a good possibility that we will arrive earlier than planned and will want to go to a park. If we wait to add a day to our tickets until we've used them once to price bridge, will the system purge a set of fp+ From another day?

It won't cancel any of your fastpasses, if that's what you're asking.

Let's say that a guest has a 5-day ticket, and has pre-booked FP+ for Tue, Wed, Thu, Fri, & Sat.

But, the guest arrives a day earlier, activates the ticket and goes into a park on Mon.
(Before adding a day to the 5-day tickets.)

What happens to the pre-booked Sat FP+?
Nothing?
Are we sure?

I'm not so much interested in what might have happened to Guest A last week.
I'm interested in what the "system" is designed to do.

I had the same question and situation for our trip last last week. I never got an official answer and didn't want to risk losing some of those high-coveted FPs so I just got rid of the FPs for the park I thought I could have better luck finding FPs for at the last minute (in my case it was Epcot) and made FPs for the rest. Once I got in my first day and upgraded I made my FPs for that one day I was missing.

Sigh. You were my one hope Robo! Lol! I've pretty much decided that if we arrive early enough to want to go to a park tomorrow night I will cancel my Epcot FP before we go in to the parks. Or upgrade the tickets at the resort and pay the darn increase. If I wasn't afraid of losing my 7dmt, I'd test things. But since we missed riding it by 2 days last year...

1. That would be the absolute SAFEST thing to do.
You'll be able to "get back" (re-book) nearly any Epcot FP+ after you add the extra ticket.

2, Unnecessary, BUT, you could simply ASK the cost of the upgrade at the concierge, and if it's
the "right" price, do the upgrade.
If it's the "wrong" price, THEN cancel your Epcot FP+ just before you enter the first park on that earlier day. Upgrade the tickets and right then, use your phone to re-book Epcot.
