2015 DVC Alaska Member Cruise 5/25-5/31/15

Fairmont Pacific Rim for us, and most of the others who said where are at the Pan Pacific. BTW, there is a meet and great Sunday Night at 8 at a lounge in the Pan Pacific.

Can my wife and I still get in on the fun? We would like to join the Adult FE group B. We are husband and wife staying in Stateroom #2021 and very excited!

Hi May 25th Alaska Cruisers!

My family and I are going on the June 15th Alaska cruise...Its our 1st DCL cruise & our 1st time visiting Alaska (double woo-hoo!).

I'm a notorious planner (I enjoy the planning part so much!) that I would LOVE to see Navigators for our cruise. But I think the first Alaska cruise of the season is yours.

So I'm begging here...If it's not too much trouble, PLEASE post your navigators when you get back.

(*I originally posted this request in the main Disney cruise line forum with the subject line "Calling all June 1st & June 8th Alaska Cruisers" because I was under the impression they were the 1st two cruises with our itinerary...sorry! Oh, and someone suggested I post this on the specific cruise meet threads...I hope this was okay!).

Thank you and happy sailing!

Hi there! Our cruise is a DVC Members charter, so the Navigators are going to be slightly different. While most of it will be accurate for your planning, we will have some presentations and information listed that will not be on the regular Alaska sailings. Not to say we can't post them, but for your planning purposes (which I totally can relate to :P) you will actually get more accurate info from the June 1st cruise that you mentioned above. :D

WaylaLady - That's good to know! Thank you very much for replying to my post. Have a wonderful trip!!!!

Thank you, you too!! This is so exciting I'm about to bust over here! There are a lot of trip reports that do show Navigators from last year. I've been using those as a guide so far.

Yes, I misspoke I'm sorry! Hubby is handling it and I thought he was pulling my leg about it and gave him a hard time so he "guaranteed" me we have a cabin and I thought he was saying it's a guarantee cabin. lol I will get the cabin number asap! Please do add us - it is the right cruise!

AngelaCruises, please post your cabin # ASAP. The group is now closed and everyone needs to know your location.

I have added you to the adult FE group. You are the final member of that group.

Thank you to everyone participating in the FE groups.

The Main/Family FE group D is still open, but will close on May 15th.

After about 10 months and a week or so of planning, and watching for FE gifts the entire time, and planning their presentation, with just a couple of weeks to spare, MY FE GIFTS ARE DONE! Now, to get them there, but all that space will be filled with DVC and FE return gifts, I am thinking....YAY ME!

Yesterday was the day to tie up the gift bags and sort them into giant ziplock bags by deck for us. That was my DH's contribution to this whole thing. I feel such a sense of relief that the gifts are done.

My lists are the big focus this week. What's left to buy, what not to forget, etc. That and checking out what we might do in Vancouver.

I came across this site in a travel brochure about Juneau, thought I would share it with the group. It could be fun for the kids, or for folks with grandkids, or anyone who sends postcards.

There’s a print company in Juneau, Alaska Litho – they offer a service through an app for iPhone/iPad to turn your own photos into postcards that they print & mail from Juneau. Prices start at $1.49 per postcard & that includes the postage. The prices are slightly higher if you use their stock images rather than your own photos.

It seems to work pretty easy – download the app, open the app, pick your photo, select the recipient from your Contacts or type in the recipient name/address, add your message. You can pay via credit card or through PayPal. They'll print & mail your postcard from Juneau.

Here’s a link to their company site and to the Postcards from Alaska site.
