Refillable Mug Question....

We leave in two weeks and we are beyond excited!!! We are using the Dining Plan which comes with the refillable mugs. Can someone tell me what drinks are available for these mugs? We will be staying at Coronado Springs Resort. Also, I was wondering if we use the mugs for our drink (breakfast) would we still be able to get a bottle of water as our drink that comes with the Dining Plan? I hope that is not confusing. I am just trying to get the "MOST" out of the VERY EXPENSIVE Dining Plan. Any thoughts or ideas would be APPRECIATED!!!! Thank you :)

You can get anything from the fountain drinks or coffee, tea, hot chocolate. This is only at the resorts and not at the parks. I'm not too sure about getting a bottle water as your drink since this is my first trip with the DDP.

the fountain machines have things like coke, sprite, minute maid lemonade.... (the usual) there's also coffee, tea, and hot chocolate for hot drink options.

the refillable mug has nothing to do with getting a drink with your meal.

all meals come with a drink included so yes of course you can still get a bottle of water (or juice, or chocolate milk, or soda)

then if you want you can save that drink for some other time and just use your refillable mug to get a drink from the machine.

I read that you can use the mug to get water in the parks. Is this true? If not is there an equivalent refillable mug that works in the parks?

someone the other day on a different thread said they were able to get CM's to put water in their mugs but they also said not to count on it.
you can get a free paper cup of ice water from quick service restaurants so no need to lug the refillable mug around anyways.
and no there is not a theme park version of the refillable mug.

Nice thing is, the mug can be refilled with soft drinks at ANY resort (according to Disney website). We don't do much soda, so at parks ask for a large cups of water all the time! If it tastes bad, add some Crystal Light. We plan on bringing our mugs along maybe a day or two - but who knows maybe leave them at the resort. We'll have a little cooler so will get bottles of water or juice to bring along for later!

In the parks you can ask for a cup of ice water for you to pour into your mug. You cannot hand the mug to the CMs to be filled because of health code regulations. There is no refillable mug program in the theme parks.
