What specific time is the Sha-Boom moment (more or less) any night this week?

Last night included....

As the indicator below shows I'm headed to DLR this week. I have been told many times to see cars land at night, if possible, for the first time, and I want to catch that moment with (DS6) , without waiting too long if possible.

Asking the cast member on the day, has always been the recommended advice... but the lights coming on usually occurs at dusk.

I was more hoping that someone with personal experience from this week could help. (even if I need to wait a few days) I mean to spend most of our first day at DL and couldn't (probably, sucessfully) ask anyone there.

It is suppose to be at the time of sunset. Look up that time for the day and that is when it is suppose to happen. I am not there every day so I dunno if that has always held true but that is what it has been when I have been there

you will see numerous cast members on the main "Cars" street. They aren't really assigned to any attractions or rides but more for guest services or escorts for Mater and Mcqueen, ask them, they literally have a scheduel on paper as to when the lights will start with the music. Very cool experience.

It's been around 7:30 pm lately. I'm closing in the area again tonight so I can double check.

Thank you! I was unsure because some things seem to list sunset after 8, and that seemed a little late when the park closes at 8 on many days.

I really appreciate it.

Use Google to find the time for sunset on your chosen day. (CMs have told us to use Google because that's what they use.) Give yourself 5-15 minutes extra to grab a snack at the Cozy Cones, find a seat or viewing spot, and maybe use the restroom. Then, enjoy your snack and wait for "Life Could Be a Dream" to start. If you're lucky, there may be some swing dancers around to add to the atmosphere. Enjoy!

Depends on the day/sunset time ... but it is so worth it... I would say around 7ish

On April 23, it was at 7:35 PM. The best bet, as others have said, is to ask a Carsland cast member. I was specifically directed to ask the gate attendant at Mater's Junkyard Jamboree, and she pulled out a printed schedule and told me for sure.

This is good advice

Today, the sunset in Anaheim is 7:38pm. Tomorrow it will the same time or a minute later. That's when they turn the lights on - right at sunset. Didn't even know this until our trip in February and Sh-Boom started playing. To my knowledge, no one is waiting around for it to happen. It just happens and people keep walking. But it is a cool moment that makes you feel like you're in a scene from the movie.

So where would be a good "viewing spot"? Where does most of this take place?

Thanks for the info.

This is what I heard from someone else:

"Hang out at Flo's a few minutes before sunset. When you hear “Life is but a dream" head to the street. Go to the intersection. Each shop’s lights come on at a different time, just seconds apart. "

Someone else mentioned that the waiting time is a great time to eat an ice cream cone from Cozy Cone.
