Disney Ray Bans

I know my fellow DISers will understand my sad situation. My DS bought me the Disney Ray Bans on our last trip. My very first expensive sunglasses and I really loved them. I was in Wal-Mart last week and left them on the counter, walked out of the bathroom for about 2 minutes, and I realized I had forgotten them. Went back in to get them and they had already disappeared. I am so heartbroken and mad at myself.

I called Disney Merchandising to see if I could replace them and she said they are no longer in stock and is not sure if they will get anymore (I am assuming probably not because they are a limited edition). I just saw listed them on e-bay but they are asking $300 and I just can't bring myself to spend that much. If anyone comes across them at a reasonable price (closer to the MSRP) please let me know!

They were $175 at Disney World. I thought that was the retail price. I guess I was hoping to find them for around $200-225.

I did check the store several times. They were probably tired of seeing me. Haha. The last time I went to check she said they had packed up the lost and found items and donated them so definitely not getting them back.

Thanks for all the suggestions everyone. I actually ended up getting them on e-bay. The price dropped to $250 so I decided to snatch them up!

I'm in a similar situation... My daughter lost her Disney exclusive Ray Bans at the mall. We were hoping they would be returned but they weren't. I want to surprise her with a new pair for high school graduation in a few weeks but haven't been able to locate them anywhere. We checked all of the parks and many resorts in April and I check on ebay almost daily. Does anyone have any suggestions?

That's what stinks... her sister has a pair. I keep hoping a pair will turn up for sale but most people don't want to give them up

My advice would be to set up a search on e-bay so you can be notified by e-mail if a new auction comes up. When they come up they go fast. If you set up the search you will at least get a chance to bid before they are gone. That's how I got mine replaced. Good luck to you. I just came back from the parks yesterday and they are definitely nowhere to be found.
