What is the best and quickest way to get between the two without going back to our disney resort?
Is there a direct bus from the MK during the summer?

I'm pretty certain that there isn't a direct bus. The fastest, easiest way is probably to walk to the Contemporary and take a bus from there.

On a side note, I recommend asking transportation questions on the transportation board. You'll generally get better answers there than you will here.

Another option would be to take the bus to All Star Sports from Magic Kingdom and walk from there to Blizzard Beach, it's about a 10 minute walk from All Star Sports.

I knew there was a walking path from CSR to Blizzard Beach, bu I didn't know there was one from All Star Sports.

Yes, there definitely is, it's about the same distance as CSR. Had to double check google earth just to make sure! Would hate to send someone on a wild goose chase in 90 degree heat.

Good to know, but it is a bit more than twice as far as the walk from MK to the Contemporary. And once you're at the bus stop for All Star Sports, you're already almost halfway to the contemporary, so it would still be quite a bit faster to just walk there and take the bus.

I agree, CR would be a good option.

I wasn't trying to say your option wasn't a good one, just thought I'd throw in a possible alternative for the OP.

I think this thread will get great information on this board. Danny

It's more than that. Walking distance from BB to either CSR or ASSp is almost exactly a mile.

Gosh, sorry Op, I didn't realise it was quite so far. I've made the walk before as far as Mc Donald's from ASMu and it seemed fairly quick. Last time I was staying at CSR we almost walked to BB as the bus was taking a while. In the end we waited and a bus showed up. Disney do seem to find a way of looping pathways around the longest possible route, all beautifully themed of course.

My slight hesitation in taking a water park bus later in the day is they seem to be few and far between in the middle of the day, plus the TL bus takes so long if you're before 2pm but after 12pm and have to go via DTD. I know some resorts combine the AK bus with BB but I'm not sure which order they make stops or whether this is just some of the time, I would imagine it's not during peak times but maybe during the quieter times.

At least with the All Star Sports option you are likely to be on your way pretty quick if you don't mind the walk. Disney World does not lend itself to going anywhere quickly, it's as if the whole place is designed to slow you down. Getting into Magic Kingdom is a great example of that, at every hurdle you are slowed down.
