parking for cirque

Dd and I will be going to the 6 pm cirque performance this Saturday, & I am debating between driving vs Disney transportation. I know traffic & parking are still a bit of a mess due to the construction. Is the lot behind Cirque still available for parking, or is the garage the closest parking?

The lot behind Cirque, along the lake, is open, but I don't know when it usually fills up.

I'm not sure whether the lot adjacent to Cirque is open for Guest self-parking, but valet parking is available there: $10 for 2 hours, $15 for 3, $20 for longer.

If you park near the west end of the garage, it's not much further of a walk than it is from the rear lot. The walkway comes in between Splitsville & AMC.

Thanks. My concern is not with the walk. I was just thinking that parking in the lot by Cirque might involve less traffic headaches, since we'd turn into the lot sooner than if we continued up a bit further to the garage. Last time I went to DTD (in March) we parked in the garage, which was fine, but it took a bit of time to get to the garage, because of the traffic back up on the street approaching the garage, and quite a wait at the light to turn left into the driveway to the garage.

That entrance is now closed to eastbound traffic, as the left turn is blocked by construction.

All traffic entering either the parking lots or the garage from the west now has to turn left opposite Typhoon Lagoon. There still might be a backup actually entering the garage.
