Problems changing departure date on my reservation.

I have had our vacation booked since last year and unfortunately, I have to come home one day earlier. When I call to make the change, the CM wanted to send a note to another CM to have her make the change. I have had too many run ins with Stitch and I was afraid that I would loose my reservation so I didn't make the change. I still have a couple weeks before our vacation. I don't want to have to pay for a day that we are not there and I am afraid to loose my reservation.
Any suggestions?

I'd call back. Keep in mind that a new policy went into effect a few weeks ago that makes dropping nights more difficult than it's been in the past. In order to drop a night/nights, the shorter trip must be available in the system. With that said, however, it has been reported that guests who made reservations prior to the policy change have been able to modify without a problem since the change wasn't in effect when the reservation was originally made.
