Little Mermaid Tsum-Tsum Release Questions

Hey all!

I know that the Little Mermaid tsum-tsums are going to be released on Tuesday. Very exciting!!! :dogdance:

I've never bought anything from the Disney store the moment it went on sale, but I'm considering it for these tsum-tsums. Does anyone know when exactly they go on sale to the public? Is it midnight on May 5th or something else?

I'm a total Tsum Tsum crazy person

They release at Midnight Pacific so it's 2:00 AM Central and 3:00 AM Eastern.

just like last month a disaster i only got 5 of the 8 at 7am est this morning and after last months complete sell out in a day i am pretty upset....we dont have a disney store with in a 40 mile drive so its not like i can run to the store.....how hard is it to have at least enough stock for a few hours on release.

I gotcha. I decided they weren't a big deal after all last night, so I didn't get up at 3:00 to buy them... then changed my mind last period and treated myself to the only three available now (seb, max, and flounder) :rotfl:

They'll be back in stock before we know it. I got my eyes on ariel and eric!

no they won't be back in stock on the website they never are you might be able to find them at a store or in the parks but once its gone from the website its gone......many lessons learned with vinyals and now tsum tsum

I'm so bummed that they sold out. I have to hope theres a lot tomorrow. I've got like, three people plus my order of them.

zero shot i tried to tell you guys for whatever reason these are insane demand well the last 2 releases....i had someone find me the last scuttle at the disney outlet near phila at 4pm they said a constant traffic of people buying all day

Based on the previous releases, they will be available in the parks (World of Disney at Disneyland and Once Upon a Toy in Disney World) about three weeks or so after they release at the Disney Stores and DisneyStore.com. So, if you're willing to pay for shipping, you can try calling Disney Merchandise Mail Order and see if they have any in stock and available to ship to you towards the later part of the month (I'd start checking around May 21 or there about).

In terms of the website, I do think it's interesting how things come and go. I suppose it's based on what people have in their carts and then if they don't go through the purchase the items are put back into stock. Newsies mentioned that s/he got Sebastian, Flounder, and Max (the only three available), but when I looked it was Ursula, Flounder, and Max that were available (no Sebastian). So, things do seem to go in and out of stock in those first few hours.
