Any full service gas stations close to MCO?

Driving from Tampa and I truly hate pumping gas. Yes, we've been through this before, but.....!
Any thoughts?

I have no clue if any exist anymore outside of Oregon and NJ.

BUT. I bet they would charge pretty close to the amount the rental car agency would charge to fill up the car... Might as well just pay the agency to fill the car if you hate it that much.

Or, perhaps I should make my 21 y/o do it so that she doesn't turn out like me!!!!!! I can change tires, oil, etc. Just really hate that gas pump.

Or, I could just pull up my big girl panties and do it!!!

I can't think of any full service stations anywhere around property. In fact, I can only think of one full service station in FL from Daytona to WDW is in DeLand on SR44 (that was not really a full service station but they did pump your gas) and in my limited travels to Tampa, none along I4.

Time to be a big girl and do it myself....what's the worst that can happen, other than making a complete fool of myself by not having a clue. And I'm used to that!!!

Pumping gas is easy. I've been doing it since I was 6 or 7 years old. You can look up how to videos on youtube if that will help you feel more confident.

If you go to any of the Hess stations on grounds go inside and ask for assistance as they will be gladly come out and pump it for you. Actually almost all self serve stations will do this....they realize there are still people who are like yourself that don't want to touch the thing. They would rather help you then something tragically go wrong and have to deal with a lawsuit.

It's surprisingly easy, fwiw.

Can you have the 21 walk you through it?

When I was first driving, the owner of the local gas station was in love with my mom and treated us like royalty so I didn't pump gas for a few years. I thought I'd hate it. But it's not that hard. Gas pump handles are a lot cleaner and nicer than they used to be.

But Tampa to MCO isnt that far, and I'd totally pay 5ish per gallon for a few gallons to National or Alamo or whatever company to not deal with the relative hassle, in your shoes.

Oh, I'm sure it's incredibly easy. I just have this thing with gas pumps. It's irrational, I know. And that 21 y/o? Yeah, she's worse than I am. Time we both figured it out. It's becoming a life skill.

So, with this in mind.....what's the closest gas station to MCO, without getting charged $5 a gallon, if I'm coming up via 417?

Racetrac is on the south side of 417 at Landstar Blvd. Which is the last exit before the airport. There is also a Mobil station on the north side of 417 on Landstar Blvd.

Excellent! Thanks. Should be close enough to keep them happy at Avis.

Any time, Ma'am.

Do they still have someone pump your gas in Central MA? I can count on one hand how many places on the south shore that still do.

Like my new avatar? I actually have driven that one, one of the 5 Nova's that Disney received due to the lawsuit with Nova Bus over buses that caught fire.

Yes, I do like it....just took me a bit to recognize you!!! I'm a creature of habit.
There are some that still pump gas up here. There's even one in my town...and it's pretty competitive with the pump your own stations. I think I've just gotten spoiled by having them in town. Looks like I'll be a pro by the time I get home from WDW!! Well, sort of anyway.

Totally off topic but cool to know you are from MA too! There are a couple of full serve near me too (one pretty competitive price wise)! Wonder if we are close?! You will be just fine pumping, I am sure of it!

Central Mass for me.....junction of 495 and 9.
