Where to charge phones and ECVs?

I read a post a while back about places you could charge your phone. I don't carry a phone, but now my MIL is asking and also asking if there are places to charge a scooter. We're going to all four parks. Is this information anywhere on a Disney website or can someone direct me to a link? I was unable to find it in a search.

They have table with plugs beside them at the Rapunzel bathrooms in MK for phones. I have never seen a place in the parks to charge up a scooter- I thought most people charged them up at night to use the next day- plugging them in in their rooms.

I think for the phone that you would be better off carrying a portable charger so that you're not dependent on finding places in the parks, not to mention the fact that there will probably be a lot of other people wanting to use the charging places in the parks.

Standard ECVs should have their batteries last for over 20 miles. Most people will not do more thzn ten miles per day. Just be sure to fully charge the ECV in your room overnight and you should have no problem.

Get a portable charger. That is so much easier. If you get in a jam, there are plugs at most bathrooms or guest relations to charge your phone. They even have various chargers there you can use.
The scooter should stay charged if you charge it every night. My mom uses an ecv, and one night she forgot to charge it. We just found various plugs around the magic kingdom. Rapinzul bathroom, bathroom by splash. That was the only day she had an issue. It should stay charged.

Two weeks ago, we noticed a phone charging station in the gift shop where you exit Space Mountain.

Thanks everyone! We definitely plan on charging the ECV every night, but didn't know if it might die after six or seven hours on our longer days. I actually have a portable charger - that she gave to me. lol. I 'll see if she wants it back, but I think she is planning on taking lots of pictures on her phone and it consistently wears the battery down. She actually forgot her camera back at her house (hours from us). I literally have NIGHTMARES about forgetting my camera at Disney. Except for the kids and the magic bands/tickets, it's the number one item to take.

I believe I read earlier this year that there were a certain number of phone charging lockers in each park.

My mom had an ECV on a prior trip. She was able to charge her ECV, while we ate at akershus, crystal palace, coral reef, 1900 park fare, cape may, and a couple others where they park the ecv's. You just have to ask. My mom was always worried the battery was going die at the end of the day.. and she was afraid of breaking down leaving the park. (Although she never did, even on days where she wasn't able to charge it during dinner)

You can either charge in your room, or leave with bell hop over night and they will charge for you

Also it's a quick charge, but she was in a mood once, and stayed in her chair and parked along the wall and charged her phone (and played candy crush) during the laugh factory... she was better after the 30.mins in the air conditioning.

Also, at the hall of presidents, with her in the ecv, we were sat against the top row wall.. they had plugs there as well.

Also in MK, back by space mountain on the side of the stage and the DSA, there is a plug there... saw plenty of people plug in there while smoking.

My hubby uses the ECVs and we've never had any problems finding a place to charge it. We noticed that there were small grey covers and if you pull it back, you can plug it in. When we did it the first time last year, we weren't sure if we were allowed to use them or not but nobody batted an eye lid or approached us to tell us not to. at epcot we used the one just inside the pyramid at mexico in WS round the 'arcade' at France. There's only some near the lockers at FW in Epcot. We used a lot in MK but for the life of me i can't remember all the locations. there are some behind peter pans queue next to Harbor House. Most restroom areas also have charging ports and restaurant also have them. Just be sure to tuck the ECV against the wall.
We made good use of the one in Cosmic Rays in MK, at the back near the rest rooms.

So, Cheshire Figment, based on this would you expect the standard scooter from say Walker, to last thru the 24 hr day plus a few(hrs before open and getting back to resorts)? No idea how many miles that day will entail. We will be taking the bus to and from pop, not sure about leaving for a nap time yet, and a trip to kona's for breakfast after a few hours after opening. I was wondering if I should get a bigger one(scooter) since the battery is bigger but that makes it more expensive so I'd rather not do that. I have forgotten to charge over night after a full day, and still had the scooter last thru the day(although I brought battery with just in case). Just worrying a bit that that might just be too long.

As for places to charge in park, I have charged in EP along the wall down by the Sunshine seasons restaurant in the Soarin building(can't think of name), just parked there plugged in for a while. Also was able to charge during dinner at Columbia Harbor House, think it was a special room for handicapped access. And, by the bathroom area back behind Casey's, that area between there and Crystal Palace.

The personal phone chargers are great! I use mine all the time there as I also take lots of pics with my iphone 4s, and now with the iphone 6. Definitely saves on having to wait in one spot to try to charge, as I keep it in my purse and just keep taking pics, and w.e. I need to do, so I highly recommend or agree with the recommendation to get these! And they are fairly cheap at amazon, so my DD24 and I both have one. Just plug in both overnight to get them charged up for the next day!

I'm not Cheshire Figment obviously. For the 24 hour day, if you are going to try to do the full 24 hours, I would have the ECV fully charged that morning. It will probably make it through a good portion of the 24 hours but maybe not the entire thing if you stay for the full 24 hours. If you go back for a nap, charge it. If you make it through, I would just watch the battery and when it starts getting low, try to find a place to charge during attractions or a break.

Thank you, Crystal824, for responding! Yep, I plan to start with it fully charged that morning, of course, then I'll try to plug in where I can during the day, such as in back of hall of presidents as someone suggested maybe. But, I'm now curious how many miles I may be doing that day. Haven't ever really thought of that before, lol, but with an average day being about 10 miles, I suppose I could be doubling that on the 24 hr day! I'll be trying to be more conscious of turning off the ecv when I'm just sitting, not always the best about that depending where I am.

As others have said, I think, with the exception of that 24 hour marathon day, you should be fine with the ECV. On that day, I would certainly look for a place to plug in, perhaps during meals.

For the phone, I purchased an item called a battery bank from Amazon. It is a pretty big battery, about the size of a pack of cigarettes, perhaps a bit bigger, and will charge my Galaxy Note 3 (which has a huge battery) two full times. I make sure to charge the battery bank over night, and then when we are sitting down to eat during the day, I plug my phone in. Never had a problem running out of power that way.

there are tons or charging places all over the parks. Epcot and MK have the most i think. with my ECV if i know i want to explore one of the pavillions for a while and can manage to walk around for a while i took the chair up against a wall plug it in and come back for it. dont forget to cover the chair, they can get very very hot in the Florida sun, burnt my behind on more than one occassion lol
