Podcast Cruise 6.0!!! Official Info

John, are you capping the number of people who can be part of the DIS group? I seem to recall that being discussed in the past on prior cruises to keep it manageable and give the team the ability to interact with everyone.

The answer is yes - but we haven't set the limit yet.

The good news is with this ship we have a lot more venues to choose from that will accommodate a large group - and we have 3 full sea days for activities.

We will make sure we have enough time to interact with al our guests throughout the cruise.

John, I look forward to seeing what you come up with for us on this cruise !!! :worship:

Wow!! One minute I'm talking about this cruise with the gang on the Universal edition of the podcast & how much we're excited about it, then I leave the country for a week and come back to see its almost fully sold out on the group rate!

Crazy!

Looking forward to it & hanging out!

Cool Picture Mike....this might be an odd question...but....I would love to see this in person....do they allow tours of the bridge? And if so, how do you arrange that?

The only way to see the bridge is if you do the "All Access Tour." I think it was $150 per person and took us to many restricted area of the ship like the kitchen, storage areas, crew areas, laundry, engine control room, etc. Our tour was a private tour arranged by Tracey, but you can also sign up once on board or online.

We did a galley (kitchen) tour on one of our cruises and we thought it was fascinating. That tour was free though. I wouldn't spend a bunch of money to do it.

We did this tour as suite guests one cruise. A couple of other cruises is was offered to us, again as suite guests, but we didn't accept because we already did it.

You could always upgrade :ssst:

Galley tours are a bit more common. On my last cruise on the Oasis (December 2014), they also did a free backstage tour of the Opal Theater where we saw the props for some of the shows. I agree that $150 is pricey. It was worth it, but I would not do the tour again. On a side note, I did a similar tour on Princess, which had a similar fee. The tour on Princess included a bath robe, apron, and professionally printed photos. All we got on the Oasis was a tote bag.
