Cinderella Royal Table, Good for Adults?

I have never been before but took a cast member's advice and booked an early dinner reservation. I love the idea of dining in the castle but the fact that it is largely based around the dining experience with the princesses makes me think it is probably more for people with little girls. It's just me and my mom (I'm 25, she's 50) so we are wondering if we should keep it or pass on it.....

Thoughts on what the experience is like and if it's good for adults only?

Personally I wouldn't do it for just adults I don't think. The food is pretty average for two credits. Then again I've done it three times with my DD and I'm trying to imagine if I would have bothered without her..... I think on balance I'd go for a signature. Or how about a posh tea at the Grand Floridian?

Well we do have dinner reservations for Be Our Guest and we also have the breakfast at 1900 Park Fare scheduled for another day, which they told me was great for adults. So I'm thinking these two will make us not fill like we have missed out on any of the Disney experience.... I'm all together thinking about canceling Cinderella's now....plus it is so expensive.

Keep it! It's fun to do at least once, even without kids. DH proposed to me there during dinner right before fireworks....so I'm pretty biased.

I'd agree with the do it once. You get to eat in the castle. You gotta do it once. I also find the awkward pictures of my husband with princesses fun. Blackmail material! He's such a good sport.

I recommend eating at Cinderella's castle. I've gone with all adults before and we had a great time and thought the food was really good. As with any character dining - just go with it and have fun!

My DM and I are the same ages as you and your DM and we plan on eating there for breakfast :) I mainly booked it because it was pre-park opening and I wanted a good picture with the castle! I'm not the biggest princess fan, but it's pretty cool to eat in the castle.

Thanks everyone for all the responses! I feel that between this and Be Our Guest we will get the perfect Magic Kingdom experience! Feel so lucky that I was able to book both.

I am really excited to eat in Cinderellas Castle for breakfast on our upcoming trip. We are 3 adults and 1 child, but I have not been there since I was a kid and I am really looking forward to it. Just for the castle experience alone. I think any restaurant/character meal is great for adults and kids. I was also able to book an early dinner for BOG on the same day before our MVMCP, so I am extra excited to have dinner there for the first time too.

I would keep it. We've done the CRT dinner with our adult children during our first visit to WDW, in Dec 2012 and by ourselves during our Halloween visit, Oct 2014.

We're, also, planning on doing a CRT breakfast during our next visit in Jan 2016.

DH and I have never eaten there (we don't have children), but I want to! Which is the best meal there, do you think - breakfast, lunch, or dinner?
