Strategies for seeing a show at the Hard Rock Live Orlando

I should preface this post by saying my wife and I recently saw a show at the House of Blues in DTD. We'd purchased our tickets online, and showed up an hour early for entrance. Seating was general admission. We were disappointed to find out that the fine print stated that if you ate at the House of Blues earlier that evening, you were given a special pass that allowed you into a preferred line for general admission, which got you into the venue first, and allowed you to find a place to sit. Muggles like us had to stand for the whole concert.

We're out to see the Kids in the Hall tour this Saturday as a Mother's Day gift for my wife. Besides knowing that Florida residents get free parking after 6pm, are there any other hidden tricks or strategies to seeing a show at the Hard Rock Live?
