Specialty Drinks on DDP

I thought it would be fun to start a list of specialty drinks that are included on the DDP.

Here is what we have gathered so far:

"Drinks" with a DDP meal

Sci-Fi: Milkshakes
Kona: Special fancy smancy coffee (Kona Coffee French Press Pot, might count as beverage for 2 so ask your server)
Coral Reef: Smoothies
50's Prime Time: Milkshakes
Whispering Canyon Cafe: Bottomless Milkshakes
Whispering Canyon Cafe: Smoothies
Yak & Yeti (TS): Berry Cherry Limeade
Narcoossee's: Smoothie
Mama Melrose's: Frozen Cappuccino

Drinks that require a Snack Credit:

Gaston's Tavern: LeFou’s Brew (snack credit)
Storybrook Treats: Ice cream float (snack credit)
Sunshine Tree Terrace: Citrus Float (snack credit)
Sunshine Tree Terrace: French Vanilla Iced Coffee Float (snack credit)
Sunshine Tree Terrace: Mocha Iced Coffee Float (snack credit)
Sunshine Tree Terrace: All Natural Lemonade topped with Wild Berry Foam (snack credit)
Sunshine Tree Terrace: Minute Maid Raspberry Lemonade Slush (snack credit)
Sunshine Tree Terrace: Minute Maid Pina Colada Slush (snack credit)
Auntie Gravity's Galactic Goodies: Ice cream float (snack credit)
Auntie Gravity's Galactic Goodies: French Vanilla Iced Coffee Float (snack credit)
Auntie Gravity's Galactic Goodies: Mocha Iced Coffee Float (snack credit)
Auntie Gravity's Galactic Goodies: Latte Iced Coffee Float (snack credit)

Yak & Yeti (TS): Cherry Limeade (I think it's cherry)
Narcoossee's: Smoothie
Mama Melrose's: Frozen Cappuccino

Sorry about that. Guess I wasn't very specific. It's the Kona Coffee French Press Pot. Supposedly the best coffee at Disney. I will update the OP.

Oh, wow! You can actually get the Little Orange Bird souvenir cup with a DDP snack credit??? I am delighted if this is true! I remember those from WDW when I was a kid, and I've been coveting one for a while now! I'll be picking one up regardless, but being able to use a DDP credit for one would be awesome!

I would disagree with Kona French Press Pot coffee being considered a beverage on DDP, except at the discretion of your server. Kona lists Kona Blend coffee, Joffrey's coffee, espresso and latte, and I've had these as a DDP beverage. They are priced in the DDP beverage range. The French Press Pot is priced for two. No single serving. If two people order it, you can ask the server if French Press coffee can be the DDP beverage selection for those 2 people. The server may say yes or no.

Once, at Grand Floridian Cafe, DD and I both wanted coffee after lunch, and the server offered French Press coffee to us for our beverage credit. That was a favor on her part (we hadn't requested), and we left extra tip.

Just looked up a Sunshine Tree Terrace menu to see for sure if the Orange Bird cup was DDP-qualified, and it looks like it's not:

Kona press pot is for 2 so if 2 pple on the DP want to share one that's fine. They both then forgo any other beverage that would be covered on the DP.

I have seen this listed both ways on a variety of sites so I can't verify for sure but it might be.

Thanks again. Touringplans.com has it listed as a DDP snack and says they verified it on 2/4/15. It could definitively be a mistake but let's hope not. They are too cute!

The Orange Bird Souvenir Cup is out of pocket. The dining plan specifically excludes food and beverages served in a souvenir container so you can order the beverage in a regular cup and it would be covered by the snack credit. If you want it in the Souvie Cup it will be OOP. From the Disney Dining Plan brochure, but it also applies to the Quick Service and Deluxe Dining Plans:
Please Note: Certain items are not included in the Disney Dining Plan such as: • Alcoholic Beverages • Items that are more than a single-serving (such as a box of doughnuts or a jar of peanut butter) • Items (such as popcorn or drinks) that are served in a Souvenir Container • Items that are sold from Recreation Rental Counters • Items that are considered Merchandise (such as Bottle Toppers, Glow Cubes and Bottle Straps) • Special Dining Events with special menus offered at certain Table-Service locations
