Is Pinocchios Daring Journey coming to Magic Kingdom?

I saw it listed on wikipedia, but I can't always trust that.

It says it is currently under construction at MK replacing Village House. Definitely false, I have removed that reference.

Lol, I figured that, since I searched after and saw no mentions. It is in interesting idea though, although I have no idea how much room is actually there.

Actually if they expanded into the seating area in front there is about as much space at Snow White's Scary Adventure used to use.

I think I'm right in saying that Pinocchio's is fairly unlikely to be repurposed any time soon for several reasons:

1. The Magic Kingdom is extremely short of indoor quick service dining space. (And table service now you think about it)

2. There is a staircase to the utilidors which I suspect is heavily used by a variety of cast members due to it's close proximity to the main tunnel entrance.

3. The cash office for the entire Magic Kingdom is directly below PVH, which although would not prevent an attraction operating above, would no doubt be a consideration in terms of operational practicality.

To sum it up PVH is in a very congested, busy and tightly compact area, with existing structures on all sides. It would be a stupid, costly and unnecessarily difficult building to repurpose.

People, why would Team Disney Orlando invest in shoehorning a 32 year old dark ride into a small and highly used restaurant, which is also based on a IP that isn't a cash cow in any way?

Agree entirely, rest assured if PVH is ever replaced in the future it will only be for something that makes money.

Well Snow White wasn't exactly the biggest movie for Disney either and they just built a ride for i.

Are you trying to be sarcastic? Snow White was Disney's first animated feature-- the first full length animated feature ever, in fact. Snow White IS Disney.

The point I was trying to make was Disney still makes attractions on older movies and Pinocchio was and still is a good Disney movie.

But Pinocchio never did well financially it's a good movie of course, but it's not a cash cow. Snow White is incredibly iconic, and the film is forever associated with the highly successful Disney Princess Franchise.
This isn't rocket science people.

I understand. I don't think the ride would come to MK ever if anything I could see Disneyland eventually removing for something else. Pinocchio in my opinion tho is somewhat still iconic as most kids know the character but maybe not the whole film.

The real driver to much of what we see in the parks these days is the magic MERCHANDISE- Snow White has it in droves, Pinocchio not so much.

The location does not lend itself to a ride, it has always been a food service location and with so few areas available which have good backstage access either to the utilidors or park perimeter I cannot see Disney loosing this key location.

With BOG operating as TS from 4pm, there are only 3 Major Quick Service locations in MK from that time, Pinocchio's, Peco's and Cosmic Rays. Obviously there are others but not with the ability to serve and seat the masses.

I think if anything we will see Disney trying to increase quick service provision, not significantly reduce it, certainly not for a ride!
