I'm Rebecca and was a member long ago, well, was an absent member actually. I'm just getting the hang of the boards again, and trying to figure out how to quote post and such.

It has been years since my family has been to Disney World and we couldn't be more excited to be planning our trip back! We're going in 2016 between July and November but not sure on actual dates as no special offers are released for that time yet. We HOPE to stay in a handicapped accessible room at the Contemporary! Last trip in my wheelchair was a non accessible room, and I don't recommend that. lol. We're also considering Beach Club, Boardwalk, and the Poly if we can't do Contemporary. :D If you've been to any of the above any and all information and/or tips would be greatly appreciated! :flower3:

I remember that there were some great people on these boards and that wonderful new people joined every day! I look forward to getting to know you! :goodvibes

We're going to try and book for next year in a couple of days! I'm so excited! Really loving the forums, and thank you all for a warm welcome (back)! :flower3:

Hello @BibbitybobityLu! :wave2: We are also planning for Sept. 2016! In fact I'm making the room only reservation tomorrow-and am nervous-excited! What has been your favorite resort so far? Which are you most eager to stay in? Who are your favorite Princesses? Other characters? Favorite rides? I started watching your PTR last night, but am only just now getting over to read it! :D

I stayed at the Beach Club in August of 2013 and LOVED it. We got an unexpected upgrade to Club level, which made it even nicer! I can't speak to the accessibility issue, but if they have an accessible room for you its a fantastic hotel in a wonderful location. Being a 10 minute walk from Epcot was the best. Welcome back to the boards!

Hi :wave2: First off YAY  for September 2016! We can be planning buddies!! :hyper: Of all the resorts I have stayed in I think its a tie between the Contemporary and OKW. Both have very different feels, OKW is laid back and Contemporary is much busier! Of the resorts I haven't stayed in I am most excited about staying at AKL. For our September trip we are planning we are going to go to two other new resorts for us Beach Club and Grand Floridian. In my PRT I explained that my main reason for choosing Beach Club was Beaches and Cream :rolleyes1! My favourite Princesses growing up were Belle and Ariel (I'm a Nineties girl!) but I have to say that I love Anna mainly because she keeps it real and looks terrible in the morning! Just like me :rotfl:! My favourite rides are Expedition Everest, Rockin Roller-coaster, Tower of Terror, Splash/Big Thunder/Space Mountains and Test Track. Thanks for giving my PTR a look! It doesn't seem like I am just babbling to myself if someone else reads it! :lmao:

Oh my gosh Club Level sounds dreamy! *swoon* From what I've seen on the boards a perk to CL is the food! Was it? Did you love it? Did you use the Disney Dining Plan? Beach club has that incredible pool Stormalong Bay as well, which is one reason it is on our short list. Did you get to try the pool? Is Beach Club your favorite WDW Resort? :D

Read all of it so far! Looking forward to watching your plans develop! I think (hope) I'll start my trip report tomorrow. I "think" we're going with the Poly, but next on the list is Beach Club, then after would be Contemporary. Needing a wheelchair accessible room with a bath tub is a pain, and each resort only has a few, but I intend to reserve one regardless! :crutches::flower:
