Free dining 2015?

The deposit has to be placed on a Disney Visa. I'm not sure if the entire package has to be paid with the DV.
 
I'm ready to book a trip with free dinning tomorrow for 3rd week in august for me and my son.. my son wants the Contemporary but i'm thinking Polynesian.. I have a Chase Disney card and when i call Disney i'm guessing i just tell them a member.. MY question is does anyone know if the main pool at Polynesian is finished? I probally will make my son happy but just incase the pool is done I can convince him..lol

It's not quite "free"

The price of the room goes up from a typical package...then the dining discount comes off...

It's still a nice, healthy discount from a total price of the vacation
 
Just got a e-mail from Disney travel agent services Free Dining will be out today.


Book Apr 27-Aug 7 Travel most nights Aug 15 - Oct 2, Oct 25-31 Nov 8-19 Dec 15-21

Both Port Orleans resorts (although noted only some dates (unspecicified) for Riverside) nto included as well as the usual Little Mermaid Rooms etc.

On a side note having done the free dining a few times I think I prefer the room discount. The dining plan gets messy in it's execution.

The offer is available for everyone today! It's already up for booking on the DisneyWorld website. Looks like Port Orleans Riverside is included. However dates for the last week in October are already sold out (Riverside)!
 
I've been trying to call since 7:04EST and at 7:20 finally got thru...estimated hold time is 52 minutes.
 
I just got off the phone with them and most rooms are sold out already! I was forced to book at POR in a royal room.

Appears that the "rumored" start date of 8/15 was incorrect. The website will only allow you to book free dining starting on 8/28.

Wonder what time it was live on the website? People may have had several hours prior to 7:00 am EST to book free dining. When I checked for the last week of October, not much was available.
