BYOB? Bring your own bike?

We are doing a split stay at BCV followed by a stay at the Cabins at Fort Wilderness Campground. We want to bring our own bikes, specifically for the 2nd half of the stay.

1. Do they allow bike riding around Crescent lake? I know I have seen surrey bikes but wonder about personal bikes.

2. Does the Beach Club have any bike racks or will the Bell hops store them for us? I really don't want to keep them on the car or bring them up to the room (which may not even be allowed).

Thanks for the help!

I have no answers but am interested to read what others may know. We have stayed at BWV in a BW view room 50 or more times and I have never seen anyone on a bike on the BW. I don't recall any signs either. We have rented bikes for the kids at Community Hall at BWV in the past but we only let the kids ride on the path that goes to DHS. I don't remember anyone saying that we were not allowed on the BW. Not sure if the bikes are still available to rent there or not. I also don't ever recall seeing signs on the BW that forbid bikes.

You might need to keep your bikes in your car or in your villa. I've never seen any bike racks around BCV since they don't rent any there. I'd stay off the bikes until you got to FW just for your safety.

For sure you can ride your own bikes at the campgrounds. You cannot ride them around BWV or BCV, not sure if the luggage room would store bikes...
