2015 Pin Code Watch

Yes, Disney Destinations.

That's the question of the century...they apparently appear by Magic...either in your inbox or in your mail box...no one knows how the recipients are selected...lots of good guesses, but if any of those really worked, we wouldn't all be wringing our hands in anticipation of the daily mail, and checking our email continually looking for them...LOL...o_O

when they arrive in your email what is the subject line and who is it from? Disney? I just want to know so I dont delete by accident

I don't think I've ever received one in my email inbox...(maybe I deleted them????? :scared: OH NO!!!!) but smitch425 said it's from Disney Destinations....

I called last night to update my reservation and asked if I had a pin code attached to my name. The CM said he would check and he did and said there weren't any. I swear though he just sat there for a few seconds and didn't do anything pretending he was checking lol. Is it even possible for them to see if a code is attached to a person's name anymore? I haven't heard of someone getting a yes response in a while and a few people have said they were told by CM's that they don't look those up for people anymore.

I called Thursday to see if I had pin codes yet for fall and of course nothing yet but I did have pin codes for the summer, I usually get the pin codes, she said to check back in April, keep calling as often as you like to check.

Nice! Good to know people still get them and they are tied to accounts and they will let you know! Did you also get the same one in your email?

For those of you who have called to check about PIN codes, has there ever been any of you that DID have codes associated with your ID, that you hadn't already received a notice either through email or snail mail? I have never called to check, and haven't gotten any in the mail or email since 2012... :confused3...could there have been codes that came and went, and because I never called, wasn't aware of them? Doesn't seem like a great system....:worried:

I'll put it this way, it is a great system for Disney!!! If it wasn't, they would have changed it by now.

Think of it this way....they have us all in suspense. Most of us are going to Disney anyway and they will more than likely have a promotion this fall. The magic? We are all hear talking about it, planning, and saving to go. This is something to hold our attention. Sure has my attention, and has for many years at this time of year!!!!

Yes, on two separate occasions I have called and asked about a PIN. I have never seen anything in the mail or in my email for WDW PINS. DL sends them to me frequently, and we've only been there once. Interestingly enough, when I've called to ask, they have never been in my name, but they have been in my husbands both times. It's worth a try to call!

That's interesting that they said the PINs are under names. I asked them to check my name, and the CM told me they go under email addresses. o_O

They come from Disney Destinations. They may say Unique offer, or special rate or anything! if it says Disney Destinations just open it!! pixiedust:

I keep getting them but in my stepsons name!, I have booked the 2 trips they have gone on so guess this created that problem!

If the Free Dining Rumors are true, I'm not gonna qualify for Free Dining in 2015 (10/5 - 10/16) so here's hoping I can get a PIN code *crossing fingers*

I've gotten two pin codes this past year but wasn't able to use either of them. I got one through the mail and another in my email.

We are also on the 2015 PIN/UOC watch... We are visiting the first week of Dec. I will take any discount.

So if you receive a code, you can't apply it to your existing reservation if there aren't rooms available for that unique offer? I was under the impression that if you got a code, you could just simply apply it to your existing reservation.

Correct. All discounts work that way.
